Stood tall and the end made me shed a tear. If you've been with Destiny since Day One of D1, following the story, the lore, the characters than you feel the same.
Literally me right now im struggling not to shed tears, there was a point during forsaken where i was a little behind in power before it came out so the grind just seemed impossible and i left for years, but coming back a little around a year ago during season of the witch was great decision, im so glad i gave this game a try again, this makes the little kid who first talked to the stranger during the first week of d1, for a kid who tried to kill that one knight in the alpha that was over leveled and needed pushed of a cliff to kill, this game is amazing, with all its problems, with all the ups and downs, does not take away the fact they made something amazing that affected my life, and my love of storys.
I have no context for any of this at all but it was a joy to watch. I also feel like I should put destiny on my play list now. RIP lance reddick. Edit: 'reads reply thread' . . . maybe not them.
You can play it, but don't expect this. Also, I wouldn't play it right now to be honest. Game is super bugged atm and its future is pretty uncertain, and a lot of this stuff isn't accessible through the game. If the only reason you're interested is the story and lore, just look up some of the lore tabs online or watch TH-cam videos of playthroughs. This game's story and lore is a mess, and you cannot get it from playing the game alone, unless you have someone like a friend playing with you to answer questions, explain stuff, and fill in gaps. If you want to play it because you're interested in the gameplay, then sure, try it out. Just wait for a sale before buying the DLCs and buy everything bundled, not piecemeal.
This has made me so sentimental, I want friends to share what this game has meant to me but I don't have friends I share that with anymore.Thank you for making this.
I cannot promise you friendship - though I am not opposed to trying; I am slow to form such, and we are strangers on the internet after all. But I CAN offer you solidarity, Guardian. Friends or not, I KNOW that this game has meant very much to both of us - perhaps in different ways, perhaps more similar than we'd expect. But don't doubt for a second that there are those who DO share the sentimentality you feel. Don't ever for one second think that you are alone. I hope you can believe, as I do: we are stronger together, and always will be. Eyes up, Guardian.
I have no words, thank you for yours. You’re solidarity means more than you might know. I’m also slow to friends, but aren’t opposed to trying either. My bungie name, (jimbob1100#2814) if you'd likr to to.

That’s so real dude, everybody gets mad at bungie and each other all the time but like this video shows a big reason why I still play this game and love it so much
This was so good! I love the little touches, like hearing Eris scream "SILENCE!" in vain as the Witness' monologue goes on, as if it was completely nonplussed about her anger. Excellent work!
Is close to 10 years since I started my aventure in destiny... December 12 of 2014. So many friends found and some lost... "but not forgotten". Till this day I thank this game for giving the 2 most careless idiots of my life that at this point i call brothers. Cayde said it himself "some of us knows the difference a fireteam makes". For the ones that are here, the ones that left and the ones that are gone and the little girl that ask me if "I was a clock" I shall live by my guardian tenets: Devotion, Bravery, Sacrifice
I haven’t been playing destiny for long, in fact I’ve only been playing destiny 2 for a year and 6 months now. I’m a little disappointed that I haven’t gotten the opportunity to bear witness to what this game was like before I started playing, watching this gives makes me feel like I have been there from the start. Destiny holds a special place in my heart, for reasons I cannot explain. I am so grateful to be apart of this community and continue to experience it with you all. Thank you for reading this if you do. Wonderful video, it is unbelievably beautiful. Devotion, Bravery, Sacrifice.
Everyone who's watched this video, remember the deaths and losses that we experienced recently. Young men and men who died after playing Destiny 2, getting to the idea of there is a trend. Those who have played this game and have chronic illnesses or severe ones tend to love the game but die quicker. I believe we need to take into serious account that this game inspired our own Destinies not just in the game...but outside of it as well. Take a moment to reflect on this now, what you devote yourself to you will become brave, that bravery will cause you to sacrifice things you didn't want to, and as we all know sacrifices are usually the death of certain items/people/addictions/toxic content. Take this time to genuinely reflect everything guys, this community may be smaller now but those who remember the beginnings and stuck with it...I am proud and happy for you guys. I love this game and will continue to love it no matter what, God bless and as always "Eyes up, Guardian."
When Deep Stone came on i IMMEDIATELY started crying, like panic attack kind of emotion, cause I KNEW what to expect from the rest of the video. People wonder why I play video games so much, its because this game is the only thing in my life that never leaves me or disappoints me. It is a constant state of enjoyment whether i'm grinding for loot or titles or just sitting in tower having an emote war with people I don't know. Ad Astra Guardians.
This goes so hard, I’ve been playing Destiny since The Dark Below and this video is the perfect encapsulation of Destiny’s vibe. I love this game and this video is a masterpiece
Damn....is strange...i start this game in alpha... On the what summer 2013~ i don't Remember well but when i got my first appeal with this game...i knew it i won't regret. I love you, i hate you, i farmed, i cry, i hope and most important i wait. Wait for all this year for a good "the end" and finally i get it. Now i can still fight in the light but not like other times. Thanks amaranth, your edit give me old good vibes for this game. Now is a start of a new journey with rising and the echos series. I wait, i hope in you Bungie and NetEase
This... is.. just.. Beautiful. This needs more views. I've been with destiny since I was a young kid, and now I am here, with people who are trying to give hope in very few places that dont have it in this ever shifting world. Still gives me hope. Thank you, fellow gardians, and I hope you have a wonderful day. For whoever this may be, watching this video and decided to read these comments.
This was beautiful. It makes me forget the lifelessness Bungie has left the current state of the game in. I've wasted dollars on season passes, spent hundreds of hours playing and now I'm lost in the entropy of this game. Its dying unfortunately, but its still like soull food for me. Its that comfortable game that i still love to play despite the rewarsing feeling i used to get. After forsaken, i just fell out of love.
Probably one of, if not the best Destiny tribute/edit I've seen, thanks for this. I also loved what u did with the Witness section near the beginning, it has such good dialogue
I never thought I'd shed tears for this game, but the journey that we ventured through as Guardians and warriors of the Light, it was so amazing and emotional. I remember my first D1 mission as a warlock and now it ends as a warlock. This game is my childhood basically but I'm happy it is because I feel fulfilled in how amazing the journey was. Cayde-6 is the best friend anyone could have too
He wasnt just a ghost, he was 'Our' ghost, we were his guardian, and those with us became our family, the light will always find its way, see yal on the otherside and may we stand together again as family, as we did as Spartans, and as Guardians

You hit me right in the feels with this. You are very good. It made me cry a bit because I’ve lost a lot of people and it was reminder that I can’t hold on forever. You know how much of an issue the witness caused.. he's the first of many like him that will come for the traveler. That and. So does he also have his own thrown world or were we on a pyramid ship. Like we were for nezzy and rhulk taking place in or on one of the ships. But if it only gets worse from the witness, realistically for content what more could they add other then completely taking us out altogether, or a bunch of minor events that lead too our downfall. Also the speaker went hard at the very at around 6 minutes. This video is amazing
i've only been playing for a few years, joined up at the very end of season of the lost, the only reason i started playing was to have something in common with my brother lol, but destiny has had such a massive impact on my life since then, its brought me so much joy over the years it's the reason i met my boyfriend lmao, every day i regret not playing sooner 😭
I took such a mental screenshot from watching this that I cant think of appropriate words to explain how good it is and how emotional it made me feel- Great work!! This is one of my new favorite destiny edits now~
Really nice edit! It’s so sad that so much of this is no longer available. Destiny 1 and 2 and the people I’ve meat through them have both done so much for me and my growth. I’d love for it to continue to positively impact others…
This is one of the best videos regarding destiny that i have ever seen. I rare comment on YT i truly do but this video deserves it it so well made and keeps the message through the whole video if i should ever recommend destiny to anyone out there this will be the video i will show them great work i hope you do more in the future. devotion. Bravery. Sacrifice.
Bruh deepstone lullaby hits freaking hard What a masterpiece of a Video! Made me really emotional, playing since the D1 Beta Edit: Hope you get picked for Movie of the week!
Que buen video, muy lindo, que buenos tiempos aquellos de destiny 1, como quisiera que volviera a ser el gran juego que una vez fue y que se que puede volver a ser, la música excelente
The ONLY fail I see is the lack of warpuppy. Tears may or may not have emerged when I witnessed a warbeast pup playing with human and eliksni children, even if for only a handful of cinematic frames.

I took such a mental screenshot from watching this that I cant think of appropriate words to explain how good it is and how emotional it made me feel-
Great work!! This is one of my new favorite destiny edits now~
Thank you so much for watching and for your incredibly kind comment. I truly appreciate it!
That made me cry!! What a journey we've been on! 😢
Really nice edit! It’s so sad that so much of this is no longer available. Destiny 1 and 2 and the people I’ve meat through them have both done so much for me and my growth. I’d love for it to continue to positively impact others…
Loved this! Thank you! Been there since day one, felt every moment of that.
This is one of the best videos regarding destiny that i have ever seen. I rare comment on YT i truly do but this video deserves it it so well made and keeps the message through the whole video if i should ever recommend destiny to anyone out there this will be the video i will show them great work i hope you do more in the future. devotion. Bravery. Sacrifice.
Thank you so much for watching and for leaving such a lovely comment, Guardian.

What an excellent edit. Honestly could keep watching it if it was longer
Thank you so much, Guardian!
Que buen video, muy lindo, que buenos tiempos aquellos de destiny 1, como quisiera que volviera a ser el gran juego que una vez fue y que se que puede volver a ser, la música excelente
Why is this so beautiful holy shit
Damn after ten years this made me tear a little
Perfect
BRAVO!!!!!!
Thank you so much!
The ONLY fail I see is the lack of warpuppy. Tears may or may not have emerged when I witnessed a warbeast pup playing with human and eliksni children, even if for only a handful of cinematic frames.
The whAT
@ I know right?! Complete the Final Shape Campaign for the cutscene.
I will always love Destiny.
