I gotta say I was concerned that when they decided to bring Cayde back that his original death would feel less impactful and it would be done in a cheap way but I can gladly say it was not even close to cheap.

I actually learned from a video that someone said that Sundance wasn't Sundance! It was the Gardener a separate female God who isn't the Traveler! Both the Winnower and the Gardener are two separate beings who might be what we're looking out for in destiny 2's second saga!
I am new to Destiny. I never knew Cayde until The Final Shape. I loved him like a brother and I thoroughly enjoyed his story in the last expansion. I cried when he died and I cry whenever I watch videos of him. I love you Cayde-6. Say hello to Ace for me.

Yeah, it's what the line "I'm what you wanted me to be." It was the Gardener telling Cayde that this is what he wanted to see most.
