    Sir, when you moved the paper strips to invert the voltage symbols I could visualized the current flow perfectly. Thank you!

    Dear Haseeb the topology and operation of "PUSH-PULL Converter" was perfectly understandable (for anyone he/she wants to read a little or view for 2 or more times that video) from your previews video. Your courage is remarkable !! EXCELLENT !!

    That is really very informative my some points are clear today BUT there is one Qoustion --in my experience with solar inverters most of the time DC side MOSFETs get short very less IGBTs get short in your that video i understand the switches have double voltage stress but there is recovery diode to help to demagnetise the inductor ( so why in solar inverters have with MOSFETs only resistors on gate and gate to source ? Why there is no recovery diode ? But on the output side of inverters with IGBTs have recovery diode
    So why not in DC side ?
    If answer that question in your next video will really thankful for that
    Best regards from Philippines 🇵🇭

    @HaseebElectronics Can you explain how corrent will flow when inductor colaps from diode from negativo to positive ? i don't understand how ? if diode only conduct from on side ... anodo to catodo .. ? thanks .. greeting from portugal

    Assalamou Alaykoum Sir,
    I would like to thank you for your valuable and clear videos in power electronics. I have a question, if you don't mind, about push-pull converter. What will happen if both switches are on? wa jazaka Allah khayran.

    hello! I have a question about secondary winding. What if to make secondary winding without central wire but only as one coil with 2 output wires and put 4-diode full-bridge rectifier for rectifying current? In that case current from inductor-filter in secondary circuit will not be flowing during dead-time and secondary winding will not be demagnetizing core? So as a result - all magnetic field energy will be converted into heat on protective diodes of mosfet and efficiency of converter will drop? Am I right? Or I am wrong and efficiency of converter will be the same?

    Push pull is also limited to low input voltage, due to flyback effect from output (secondary winding).

    • @HaseebElectronics
      @HaseebElectronics  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      you are right its main usage for low voltage applications. but it is also used in line voltage application to step down the voltage, for high power output

      @@HaseebElectronics I've seen it in UPS as main stage for pseudo-sine wave inverter, driving low side of transformer, from battery. Your videos are very informative. Keep up doing good work. May Allah s.w.t bless you.

    • @HaseebElectronics
      @HaseebElectronics  ปีที่แล้ว

      yes brother
      you are right
      as I mentioned in my video that this topology is most commonly used in solar inverter applications same as ups.
      but it is also widely used in high voltage input to step down converters for high output current requirements

    How to 'time' the switches to work together?

    • @HaseebElectronics
      @HaseebElectronics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      switches will work opposite to each other. these will never switch together. if these switch together, these will damage immediately
