i live in Lansing , IM i grow bamboo tree in my back yard and i love it i use them look and my fishing pole
I am still to see the National Bamboo Mission, India, actually implement any of what they are speaking in the video. I live in the North East and travel to all the 8 states extensively and have never been able to meet anyone from the NBM in their office nor in the field area who can answer questions and actually come forward with any help. Sad but true.

i plan to be the biggest grower and supplier of bamboo in Australia! its a millon dollar industry waiting to be reaped of its reward. it take 5 yrs to grow to full size thats 2 more harvest seasons then pine plantations take to grow to timber size. also it takes 100ha of soft wood to make a 1000ft house, but if you make it out of bamboo its just takes 1 ha. bamboo also has a better weight to strength ratio then steel.

I would think bamboo could be used in many places that depend on charcoal for cooking. it could easily be processed for the low emissions Luciastove to be used instead of charcoal or firewood. Waste from stove could be used for charcoal stoves or as Biochar. This could reduce pressure on more valuable hardwoods.

We have invented fast pyrolysis system for conversion of any dry agro waste to active energy without the pollution of environment.We developed a pilot project for Maharashtra Bamboo Development Board,Nagpur, Maharashtra.On the completion of the process of dry bamboo waste we get three Bio Products 1) Pyrolysis Oil 2) Activated Charcoal 3)Syn Gas. •)On distillation of pyrolysis oil we get Light Diesel Oil(LDO) and Compressed Natural Gas(CNG) •)The Activated Charcoal obtained from the system is used in various industries such as Cosmetic industry, Pharmaceutical industry and Fertilizer industry.The Activated Charcoal can also be used for Purification of Water. •)Syn gas can be used for generation of Electricity and on compression of syn gas we get Compressed Natural Gas(CNG).
This is a patented (Publish) project and the size of the system varies from 1 tonne per day to 40 tonne per day
