As a guyanese trini 🇬🇾🇹🇹, after cleaning and washing your chicken with lime & white vinegar, you add, salt, black pepper, grated onion, grated garlic, minced chives, mined celery, hot pepper (bird pepper), pimento 🌶️ pepper, a bit of ginger, CURRY POWDER, masala, grounded geera and a bit tumeric powder. Mix well, allow it to sit for a few hours. Put your cast iron pot on the stove, allow to get hot, add some oil, wait until when you can literally see /feel the heat coming off the oil, throw in the chicken, stir well, cover and let all the water fry out until it comes back to just oil in the pan, add potatoes, stir. Add ENOUGH water to make a sauce, cover & let it boil until potatoes are soft. To thicken sauce, remove a few of the cubed potatoes, mash it up and add it back to the sauce. Check for taste. Turn off stove, add some freshly chopped chive for garnish. Serve over hot white 🍚 rice or with dhal Puri.

Give y’all a secret, key to curry is curry powder and Marsala 3:1 ratio mixed together with diced onions and garlic and lil bit of water and made into a thick paste. Now comes the most important part, trying that up properly until the oil oozes out of that said paste. This is key part to making curry.
This wasn't a proper test. Where was the Trinidadian, Guyanese and Surinamese in this challenge. I mean they would know more about curries than the rest of the Caribbean. No offence.

As a guyanese trini 🇬🇾🇹🇹, after cleaning and washing your chicken with lime & white vinegar, you add, salt, black pepper, grated onion, grated garlic, minced chives, mined celery, hot pepper (bird pepper), pimento 🌶️ pepper, a bit of ginger, CURRY POWDER, masala, grounded geera and a bit tumeric powder. Mix well, allow it to sit for a few hours. Put your cast iron pot on the stove, allow to get hot, add some oil, wait until when you can literally see /feel the heat coming off the oil, throw in the chicken, stir well, cover and let all the water fry out until it comes back to just oil in the pan, add potatoes, stir. Add ENOUGH water to make a sauce, cover & let it boil until potatoes are soft. To thicken sauce, remove a few of the cubed potatoes, mash it up and add it back to the sauce. Check for taste. Turn off stove, add some freshly chopped chive for garnish. Serve over hot white 🍚 rice or with dhal Puri.

Whooo that sounds like a long azz day of cooking. Here's the thing- most people don't know how much of each seasoning to add. So it may not taste as good if your not Caribbean. Sounds good though

You can have food ready in no time. 🤔 To solve the amount of seasoning problem. AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE OF EACH. The only thing you have to be careful with is the salt. Salty food isn't good for you.

Give y’all a secret, key to curry is curry powder and Marsala 3:1 ratio mixed together with diced onions and garlic and lil bit of water and made into a thick paste. Now comes the most important part, trying that up properly until the oil oozes out of that said paste. This is key part to making curry.

Lorna’s curry with spinners looks like my grandma’s. I know her curry is great. I can see she “burned” the dry curry first then added the seasoned curry meat. That’s why you have that nice colour
I love that the Carribean/Jamaicans on this always appreciate bones in the curry. A good curry is always bone in. If it doesn't have the bone in I'm gonna be disappointed.
