But I really only expect to help with grabbing the code cart or performing compressions or recording, or paging doctors or putting out phone calls, attempt IVs, grab supplies etc, never to lead...Code providers (MD/APN) I admire so much because they walk into the room not knowing how they'll find the patient. They're expected to LEAD and direct the code and get the family on the phone (and patient's main attending/other providers on board such as cardio or renal) without even knowing the patient's past medical or surgical history in detail 😱 And getting anesthesia to come intubate, or putting in emergency central lines. Props to you Violin, the fact that you're able to walk in so calmly probably brings a lot of relief to the rest of the staff assisting in the code:D

I’ve always remembered the horrible moments I’ve experienced in hospitals throughout my life but watching these videos makes it all seem exciting, interesting and actually gives me a hope that not all doctors and hospital staff are rude and at times careless. I've been a silent viewer of your videos for a couple of months now but I just want you to know that you inspire & motivate me to work hard in school. I'm a senior high school student and I can't wait to be in the medical field! I hope I can experience what you're experiencing right now sometime in the future. So much love from the Philippines! ❤️

You are just an amazing women. Simple as that. Keep doing you girl.
I love your videos it’s like a mini episode of a dr show on tv
Wonderful - so happy to hear that!
I’ve always remembered the horrible moments I’ve experienced in hospitals throughout my life but watching these videos makes it all seem exciting, interesting and actually gives me a hope that not all doctors and hospital staff are rude and at times careless. I hate medicine and anything to do with it because it scares me a lot but these videos change that feeling for a moment.
Have you ever had to call time of death? Bit morbid, but I’m still curious.
I love how you are so humble as a doctor! You understand a nurses point of view too!
I find your videos so interesting. I’m studying to be in the medical fields too.
You seem like such a happy human! Love you're videos and energy 😍
Did your father compose the background music ?
Nice melody.
My sister wants to be a nurse and she is a sophomore in high school. She is taking a medical class and is learning terms and the meanings of diseases. I am totally suggesting you to her!
Colab with dr Mike
I know I'm late, but my grandfather keeps falling, probably because he had surgery on his ankle so I'm glad you mentioned it😊

Violin MD thank you
I can't stop watching your videos even though I live this every single day as a 2nd year Neurology resident :D Love your material and your violin playing is phenomenal!!
Appreciate doing all these being a Medical person :)
Thanks!
Im a nursing student and i just came across your channel. Boy, how i am so glad for coming across your page. You’re such an amazing medical resident, wow! Keep it up, people like you in health care gives people positivity 😊
Watching this reminds me of the adrenaline rushing when I was on my previous jobs Code Blue Team 😳
I’m so glad you did a full exam of that patient and checked for acute angle closure glaucoma. My mom lost part of her sight from the condition because a doctor didn’t do a thorough check when she went into the ER for severe migraines.
I like your freckles! I have them too!
girl you are AWESOME! I just discovered your channel tonight, and I'm watching through all of your videos!
Do you refer to a log of diseases ? Or do you know a lot of them by heart ?
That’s been intriguing me!
Stephanie Cantu Ahh this is such a great question - would love to know this too! :)
A lot of it gets committed to memory from seeing different variations and symptoms of diseases I think - references are used sometimes too
Wow I started watching your vids a couple of months ago. Recently started med school and kind of lost sight of the big picture. Watching this video (and your videos in general) continuously reminds me why all of the stuff and what seems like unnecessary minutiae I'm learning is important. Thank you for the inspiration.
