    Glad you liked it! I've been looking forward to this review for a while, as I feel like Gold Coaster gets constantly ignored whenever classic Arrows are being discussed. A beautiful ride and such a weird but cool layout.

    the audio was only on when it was “Hot Wheels Sidewinder” so there’s no longer audio during the ride. I’m shocked the international enthusiasts visiting recently really enjoy this ride, I hate it and find it very rough and uncomfortable, especially the the second turn and the exit out of the loop

    • @CanobieCoaster
      @CanobieCoaster  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It is a lot smoother than the Arrows I'm used to in the US.

      It’s my home park and I hate that coaster - it’s rough as guts! It’s only redeeming moment is the final loop but it’s not worth the pain just for that! I’d take the now removed Arkham Asylum at Movie World over this abomination any day.

    One if the only Arrow loopers to not have corkscrews, the layout fits very well for its surroundings which is convenient considering it wasn't build at this park first and was relocated. Water slides wrap around the back half very well. It most be smooth with those trains and I prefered hot wheels sidewinder as a name for this.

    Crazy Luna Park thought they could get away with this monster being placed right next to apartment buildings. After seeing the off-ride footage I have no idea how they crammed in.

    • @frizly28
      @frizly28 ปีที่แล้ว

      the name is a play-on word based on the park’s location. dreamworld is located in coomera which is apart of the gold coast (major australian city), the teal colour scheme is the gold coast’s main colour scheme (representing the water of the mass amount of beaches here). you have to do some digging before actually understanding the gold coasters name lmao

    I've always loved the fools who buy apartments and houses near a freaking theme park then complain about noise. That's why you DON'T buy a property or house without visiting it at all hours of the day and ideally, different times of year.

    • @CanobieCoaster
      @CanobieCoaster  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I get their pain if the park grew after they moved in, but in most cases they know it's there.

    • @TheSonicsean
      @TheSonicsean ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know, like IIRC Luna Park is around 90 years old (and likely predates the apartments that people are complaining from). I used to live across the street from a school, and I didn't go complaining to the city because the kids were being loud.

    How much better are the big arrow loopers In the United States like Viper, is it 10x better or just a bit better?
    I appreciate it because its the only one we have and usually marathon 5 or 10 rides in the back row when its quiet.

    • @thomasxl200
      @thomasxl200 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I haven't been out to Aussie but I've been on a good number of Arrow loopers big and small, and Viper is in another league in terms of forces and speed. I will say I am a bit biased, but Viper is a unique experience worth trekking out for cause there's nothing else like it anymore.

    Nearly fella offa me chair.......No TRIMS! Plus the comically long queue line. Indiana Jones DL. has a 1/2 mile line. It was after that, a walk on ride in Nov. I love the track/ train color + surf theme. I'm gonna look for a vid. w/ soundtrack. AstroWorld had complains from apt. renters about the steam whistle from the railroad. (to be honest, it WAS a 6 Chime Nathan) Even though the park was there long b4 the apts. They never complained about free view of fireworks in the summer.

    • @frizly28
      @frizly28 ปีที่แล้ว

      the reason it has the name “gold coaster” is because the park is located in coomera which resides in the gold coast (enormous city and a tourist destination here in australia), the colour scheme is a direct reference to the gold coasts colour scheme. this is because of our beaches which surround the city. you have to do research about the gold is in general before actually understanding this coaster’s name lol
