My dad and I recently got into salmon fishing and your videos really helped us this year. Thank you so much for making the salmon school videos they were the biggest help. They helped put me on a master angler steelhead I caught out of Algoma on a dipsey with a black/raspberry moonshine spoon

Russell Thanks for the time and effort you put into educating other people that love the sport. Please inform me immediately of the sale on wire divers, I will be interested in 2 ,and will want those set up in your shop with reels and wire. Thanks again. I got that fish hawk X4D from you, haven't opened it yet, come down with the virus and been fighting that.

You mention the flasher size swivel is 90#. What's the spoon size. 55#?

Great Vid! Setting up a wire diver rod. What type of knot do you use to tie 19 strand to braid backing.

Love your videos Russell! You mention a few times a "wire diver" set up. Are you saying that you connect a Dypsy or Deeper Diver to a copper/steel/lead core line? If so, how do you know how deep it is?

      No stainless diver wire.

@@RussellsFishingTech I'm sorry, I'm new to trolling. I have a reel spooled up with 300 ft of 45# steel wire. Are you saying to put a dipsy diver on the front end of that? Seems like it would add depth. Is there a chart to know the depth if that's the case. I added a Tadpole diver at the end of 10 color lead core and that added about 20 ft of depth. Is there a simular effect running 45# steel and a dipsy?

@@robertpringle8250 I think your talking about 45 weighted steel or 45lb copper? Generally we run 30lb stainless wire also known as diver wire with a dipsy. The 300ft of copper
      Or weighted steel
Should be ran on a mag size planer board

@@RussellsFishingTech Thanks--I understand the diver wire is different than weighted steel.
