Represent! Photography in South Africa During and After Apartheid

This is a video recording of a paper I wrote a few years back, to be included as a chapter in a journal entitled "Culture and Liberation Vol II", which has yet to be published. I am publishing it here for the record as I have authored this essay, and deem it necessary to make it available for access on my TH-cam Channel 'Cedric Nunn's Photo Talks'. The essay chronicle's my personal involvement in photography, including my early years in the Afrapix collective and agency, and as a so-called "struggle" photographer, through the early democratic period including engagement in the art world, through to the contemporary period and the construction of a photographic archive.
