As a 40 year employee of this Fed, I wish you guys had someone with you who could explain what you’re seeing, So much history and it makes me so sad to see the state of the building. I moved to the new building in 2008 and hated it compared to the old one.
I’m sure you’re a nice woman and your family loves you greatly, but working for the very ppl that have their boots on the throat of America makes you treasonous to the rest of us. All it takes for evil to prevail is good ppl to do nothing except what their master tells them to do. We hope the new building burns to ashes
You're an idiot lol
@@idontnonuffin944 work is work
What's up with hidden floor?
This place looks stunning.
It’s an amazing place!! Thank you so much for watching!!
That is just crazy. It’s so fascinating to see these incredible and once vibrant and industrious places laid to rot. Thanks for getting in there and showing us around.
Thank you so much for watching!! Part Two of this place will be coming out soon also!!
I've been waiting for this one first comment you already know it.
You are very quick!!
See the documentary called the "creature of Jekyll island." About how fed reserves got started. Very eye opening.
I’ll have to look into that!! Thank you 🙂
@@exploretheabandoned you're welcome 😊
Yes guys those where diesel powered generators , the actual electric part has been removed, the building was designed to be off the grid if need be. If power was lost those big caterpillars would start up and run the whole building all the computer systems and HVAC, lighting and water chilling systems that building due too what is was used for was capable of sustaining itself for long periods of time, really cool stuff
My first job in 1972 was at the fed and I worked in the vault area. Great people and job
Wow. Thank you for sharing that Steve. Hopefully this video helped bring back some old memories
Yeah we call bs on this one! Not that you worked there, but we all know there aren’t great ppl that work there. Those that work there are the favorite slaves. Who could possibly work for the ppl who keep their boot on America’s throat and call it great?
Amazing explore
Thank you!
Wow guys I am impressed!! It took me a month but u used ur QR code. Watched a few vids already and digging the history. Im not from here and it’s awesome to see another side of KC.
It’s your former A1 manager btw haha
Keep up the great work fellas!
Thanks for checking the channel out Matt!! Glad you like the videos
Very Cool find 👍
Thanks it’s definitely one of the most fascinating places we’ve explored over the years.
I explored this bank too and the reason for the ladders everywhere is because the homeless would take the copper and brass wires and sell them for money
Now that we can prove with valid sources that over 85% of US adults own a touchscreen smartphone, creating an opportunity to learn how human civlization has reached this point at this location is a very valuable thing to do together.
How do you get in?
This is sick! We’ll done 👌🏻
Thanks Caleb!! Looking forward to meeting in STL
@@exploretheabandoned For sure! I’m stoked!!
Who let you in? I’ve always wanted to get inside! I live across the street!
He said he got permission. Idk.
That’s so crazy
I'm going to try and get permission to stage a puppet show here.
The Chandeliers are 10k each... Common courtesy that the most North/West point of building will have a hidden Time Capsule! You must find the office of Harry Truman within building and search it carefully..
wow those were some huge engines/generators, the second one was disabled, the valve covers are off. upon second look wow again, those are V12's, and both disabled.
Thank you for sharing that!! We always love to hear more knowledge about the stuff we find.
The alternator portion that the engines would have turned has been removed, perhaps for salvage or maybe re-use somewhere else. Just the engines appear to be remaining. Perhaps the cost to remove them and re-use them is more than what a new one would cost? Also, how would you get them out of the basement? Is there a loading door somewhere?
We had an urban exploring party in there.
This will be an Anthropology Exhibit in the middle of the 21st Century at 10th&Grand in KCMO.
Look at the position of the glove next to the pigeon.
how did you get permission who did you contact
Best part of that place is fist fighting the pigeons in the parking garage. Literally feral birds trying to attack us we were throwing fists left and right at those birds 😭
It says R.I.P. wade above the tv.
No roof shots!!??
Those vaults are something else. You would think that those vaults would have some value. Why does it look like its been ransacked by tweekers.
So I don't understand why is this abandoned and not in use. So what are they gonna do with it
Probably convert to apartments
I was hoping you would show the gun range
There’s a gun range?
How do u get in
You can’t now
@@exploretheabandoned🧢
Yes you can you just have to parkour
And how would one go about getting permission? 😅
lol you dont, you would have to sneek in
