My sister lived on Vancouver Island for 50 years. When they retired a few years ago they moved to Gabriola Island, it's between Vancouver Island and the Main land of B.C. Canada. I live in Washington State so it's been easy to go see her (except during the pandemic). It's such a beautiful place as is western Washington where I live, way more green then eastern Washington, which I also lived in for about 5 years. May your journey continue taking you to beautiful places.
Marianne's face when dinner was served was precious. Lol. So glad you were able to find the propane! Love following your adventures! Stay safe, you two!
Lovely video guys and we loved hanging out with you 🥰🥰 it was so funny when Chris pointed at the yellow hotrod and said nice car and Marianne went yes but it does not have a bed or bathroom 🤣 and Julia is a rockstar too! Already looking forward to your next one 😉
FYI .... In Canada, permanently mounted propane tanks don't expire or need to be recertified. Only removable propane CYLINDERS need to be recertified. (example: used by Travel trailers or for BBQs) Unfortunately, many propane-fill staff are not aware of the difference. You can double-check this on the MOT (Ministry of Transport) website regarding permanent built-in RV propane tanks. Marla --Owner of a 1999 Roadtreck Campervan with a built-in propane tank
great hot rod meet up . . aunt Julia is a true warrior 😁 . . that dinner looked 😋 Chris your laughter is so infectious . . happy safe travels 👣 my friends ❤️ 🙋♀️
Those were some lovely cars! Dunno if the driver of the last vehicle to arrive explained, but that used to be a semi tractor for pulling trailers. Lowered, repositioned the front axle, replaced the hitch with a pickup bed, and much more to be sure - there are many garage hours logged into that one, for certain. ❤️❤️😎👍xx
But none of them had a bed !! LOL - you know how it would take a lot to have me turn my head .... and they were shiny ... but there was not bed / kitchen !! 😂😘🚐🌺💕
Easy to replace that fridge when you return to Uk, it can be run 24/7 on 12v from solar panel and also the amount of drive you do through a good charger likd sterling power 1260. Inlander uk ij the company that sells low consuption 12v compressor Fridges.
Next time you need propane look for a store called Tractor Supply Company it usually has the cheapest price, it's where I fill our propane tanks on our RV.
As a Canadian, A) I am so sorry! Can't understand how hard it is to get propane in BC! and B) I have to tell you we rely heavily on Google Maps to identify things we need, and call ahead to make sure it's available/open.
@@karigross4596 all these jobs just lying around, eh? That must be why these propane places are short staffed. They’re the ones likely hiring part time minimum wage.

Food looks lush love the videos keep these wheels turning guys thank you both for sharing
Van lifers had the same problem in So. America, too. I might be inclined to keep a couple small camping cans for spare, just not to starve.
God bless you and your family
Hi both. You have amazing family and I see where you get your sense of adventure .
Here’s a tip: try the nearest art museum, who may have Degas, but they may charge a lot of Monet 😆
Too bad I’m usually Baroque 😁
But will the van gogh?
LOL !! You lot are hilarious !! 😂🌺🙌
Looks like Vancouver Island is pro-pain about propane. Glad you finally found some .
Quality upload timing: I'd just finished your previous one. Loving your adventures.

I wonder if you can actually meet up with Vancity Vanlife and Cat Lady Van. Chrome and Emi were already in the Rockies in the last video.
That would be great !!
Hi Marianne /Chris. Great video. Nice to hear you are going to Turkey again♥️👍
Yep we have a Trova Trip planned and we ill be doing some more fundraising and promotional work for the Turtle project - Dekafok too 💚💕
Next time you need propane look for a store called Tractor Supply Company it usually has the cheapest price, it's where I fill our propane tanks on our RV.
Yep we have seen those in the US ... but we haven't seen any here - we will keep a look out !
You guys are so funny!!! 👍
In Canada - Co-Op gas stations usually sell propane.
Crazy question but why don’t you call ahead when looking for propane? Glad you finally found some!
Hi we don't have a local sim and we have never had to even think about phoning ahead before - but we will certainly do that from now on in Canada 🙌🌷
@@TREADtheglobe I suppose you never imagined you’d have to go so many places!! And what would we watch? 😃
Thanksgiving weekend in Canada
Epic, wonderful and spectacular 😊

I hope I’m not too late to tell you about the Upper Campbell Reservoir free BC Hydro campground.
And Coal Harbour, west of Port Hardy.
Awwh Thanks !! We have just come back from there .. Chris is editing the videos now xx But thank you so much for messaging
Are RV dealers like Camping World a better place to find propane? Just a suggestion.
maybe time for a gennie and a ceramic hob?
U mean u can't put lpg in ur van ur selves, like in UK?
why you guys do not use a phone and google qn call all the stations and ask?
Sometimes? 😂
Canadian tire or walmart
🥰
What a pro pain in the bottom lol 😂x

I'm sure Ersel would have found the parts in Türkiye if you asked him. :)

More like people have to look for something better than part time minimum wage if they want to eat at least once a day and sleep indoors 😢
@@christinamann3640 so what do they live on if they make $0.00/hr? So many jobs available that no one needs to settle for part-time.
