🥰 thank you. The jersey facing was a choice of necessity as I ran out of the sweater fleece 🤣 but, the experiment worked great! 🙌 thanks for watching ❤️
Thank you for the great tutorial. You make it so easy to follow and achievable . Your cardigan is really lovely and perfect for the cooler weather. Thoroughly enjoy your videos.
This video gave me some great ideas for upcycling a recent cardigan sweater I found that’s beautiful but too big. Thanks for your videos. They always inspire me.😊
That’s a great idea! I always get a little sad giving clothes away because I know there’s so much potential for me to make something new! Have fun making your new cardigan 🥰
For finishing without a serger would you recommend a narrow zig zag or overcast foot? Second question could I use a narrow cut piece of interfacing instead of the elastic for then shoulders? Love your finished garment. Thank you.
@@Cambrilsbirds without a serger, personally I would just see those raw edges with a wide zig zag. And for the shoulder reinforcement, I would alternatively use a remnant of a lightweight stretch fabric, such as jersey, to sew within the seam. You could also sew in a piece of twill tape or seam binding!
I never thought to use a jersey for facings with these types of fabrics. Great idea! Thanks for yet another fantastic tutorial!

I love cardigans!!.😃🤗. Did you make 00 or 0.?
🎉 I made size 0 - second to smallest size… but I could have made the smallest. Depends on how roomy you’d like it to be. ♥️
@Sew-Happy Thanks. I will make my usual size 00, so in this case it will fit me better, less roomy. 👍
