Lol she didn’t just right it for Rihanna. Katy was in a REALLY bad abusive relationship with a guy that abused her & drugs then murdered their land lord and killed himself. She’s been through so much trauma just doesn’t like talking about it once she’s gotten it out of her system. And why a lot of people just think she’s some bubbly cringe happy person when I’m reality she’s just grown from it and we should all learn from her

Wait, really? There's another interview where she said, though she will be releasing the album, she won't be able to tour it. She also said, and I paraphrase, "I think a lot of artists are doing this nowadays." about releasing a full studio album and not really launching a full world tour, let alone just a tour (within the country). Or maybe at least, she will be promoting the album but just not by touring it.

I'm not a huge Katy stan but this album is one of my favorites of all time. High school me had this album on REPEAT. The tour was also incredible. I highly recommend watching the Not Like the Movies and Hot n Cold performances from that tour. NLtM is so stunning and heartbreaking and her vocals are soo good and then Hot n Cold is just super over the top campy Katy. Loving your reactions!

just a reminder... ALL the singles from this era made it to the top 3 on the Hot 100. 6 of them being #1, while the other two #2 and #3. That's a total of 8 singles at the top of the charts... from ONLY ONE ERA! You just can't get more iconic than this... Katy wrote history from 2010 to 2012!
I never understood if she had 6 no #1's from 1 albun then how come she didn't break MJ's record ? I mean she clearly surpassed him as Micheal had 5 no 1's with the 'Bad' album.

PRISM is so underrated among the KatyCats! The first half has the pop perfection hits, then the second half has some of Katy's most personal lyrics and moments where she talks about depression, suicide etc. Easily her best to me.

She confirmed KP5 is coming August 24th! Daisies is the first song on the album. She said "just because I'm going to be a mom doesn't mean I'm done signing" -- it's her passion to inspire others.

14 year old me declared this album as the soundtrack of my life (as of then)!!! such a pop masterpiece and it really showcased not only katy's vocal abilities but her songwriting ingenuity and versatility!!!

The only minor flaw is that there are too many songles in proportion to the non singles. So you dont get many suprises but its still her best doe.

Teenage Dream is definitely her most hit-filled album, but when it comes to quality- PRISM is by far her best work. You're in for a treat with it- so many bangers and beautiful mid-tempos/ ballads. PRISM is a masterpiece
