Filmed them at The Vic in Chicago. Set me on a collision course for the rest of my life and as a Chicagoan, this song speaks to everything it's about. So proud of the city, so proud of how it made me and I'll forever forever forever be proud of the shots I got and the experience of being pressed against speakers as they gave it everything they had. I'll continue to do the same.
I filmed them in 2013 at Metro-Chicago, I have videos from that show on TH-cam. I met them outside on Clark as they were unloading their equipment trailer, no helpers, just those 2 guys. I really thought they were going to be huge.

I live close to Dave, had a few brief conversations with him over the last two years. Seen them 5 times, all in Vancouver at different venues. Post nothing came put just after I graduated high school in 2009. Influential band. Thanks fellas!

Last time these lads were in my ears, I was in a relationship with whom would arguably be the “love of my life.” Tough bananas. 7 years later, I am deafer (thanks to their live show), spottier liver, prosthetic rhymes, bowels clenched with abomination (quoting good old Walt) and finding every reason to keep digging these blissful tunes. Almost hosted them during the ‘17 earthquake in CDMX. Would have loved to. This album will be the blood we all need. If it’s the last dance, let’s make it memorable. ¡A darle, jefazos de jefazos!
