Watching John kill people with the Dragon's Breath Shotgun from the bird's eye angle was the coolest thing ever
It was an okay movie but may as well be a cartoon at this point. Especially with the just hold your bullet proof suit up and bullets bounce off. That's not how kevlar works and nothing points out they have some magic technology in the movie.
This may sound weird, but Keanu's lanky movements makes his fight scenes look more realistic as though he's exhausted from doing so much fighting. He's almost 60 and still moves the way he does, making it much more impressive.

I mean the fights are supposed to get sloppier to reflect the character's tiredness.
He's also pushing 60.
This movie was ridiculously fun. The sound design, stunts, character moments, direction. It took every scene and made the most out of it. It’s a special movie, and all time great action movie.

I actually think this is the best John Wick movie.
That and the most impressive action movie possibly ever made...
For action sequence, yes this is the best. But still think the first one is the best between 4, the introduction of John Wick.
@@rmzbro2766 I have to agree. The first movie is still the best for me, simply because it was simple, and had a mystique about his character. 4 is a close second though.
12:01 They made getting killed by doorbell so much fun.
One of my favorite scenes 17:27 was the fact that Caine actually asks, "You dead John?" to both bait a response out of John and also show concern if he actually had killed him. I remember everyone in the theater all held their breath and waited silently along with John because it felt like Caine was listening for all of us to make a peep.
The way they choreographed Donnie Yen's character fight sequences is so damn good! I was worried that they were going to make him into a Daredevil knockoff by having him have special abilities, but I absolutely love how they make the character's fight choreography believable by using his surroundings and doorbell gadgets to alert where the enemy is.
I also like how The Tracker character doesn't want to kill John right away, he could have easily tried to but what makes him not to is the price isn't enough because he has no personal reason to want to kill John other than the right amount of money. He's such a very fascinating character.
The action never stops in this movie!
No movie franchise should keep improving THIS MUCH IN QUALITY in terms of directing, writing, acting and especially action choreography with each movie! It’s practically spoiling us as fans.
The whole action sequence at the Osaka Continental is so great it could’ve been the final sequence for most films but the movie keeps going and gives us even more. I mean it gave us a fight I never thought we would see in a blockbuster movie which is Hiroyuki Sanada vs Donnie Yen!
Also RIP Lance Reddick. Gone far too soon, but we will never forget you.

It has only improved in the cinemetography and the fight choreography sections. The writing was awful, the plot was non existent, the characters were bland. After john wick 1, which had a plot I guess and a bit of soul because you could relate to the character and his motivations, all the other 3 films have just been the same thing. John gets chased, he goes somewhere for help, gets refused, guilts them into helping him and puts their lives in danger and it goes on and on . The osaka sequence goes on for like 30-40 mins. Watching just action without any good drama for 40 mins is not good writing, its boring. This movie failed in almost all aspects except for the fighting sequences and the way some scenes are shot. Especially that dragon's breath scene which has to be one of the best I've seen in any action movie.
It really has only increased in Action and cinematography. Writing has been decreasing since the first one. This one was a little better written than the 3rd one tho. Rest all is mostly the same.
MI franchise is the one which keeps improving or at least stays consistent in all aspects.
@@HarryK-ld2ed Yeah MI franchise actually delivers consistently unlike John wick. Honestly after John wick 1 all the other 3 were mediocre at best. It's just a stunt showreel at this point.
Charon died in the film while Lance Reddick actually died a week before the movie came out.

Donnie Yen is without a doubt the highlight of this movie, they could make a movie about his character and I would be there on Day One!
The familiar looking dude is Marko Zaror…..perhaps you may remember him as the antagonist to Scott Adkins in ‘Undisputed 3’

I like how they gave everyone a distinct style.
John is definitely a gunslinger, Marcus was a sniper, Ares was a rogue, Zero was a classic bladedancer, Sofia was a beast master, and "Nobody" here is a warlock: he fights not only with weapons and beasts, but also with knowledge.
I watched this in 3D in theatres ....and by god the action the cinematics....the shots were just 🤌🤌

Cinematography & Choreography was on point with the Osaka & Paris house sequences (with the overhead shots) the highlights for me in a long movie that needed a little trimming down along with slightly better line readings from Keanu :) Why does the amazing Hiroyuki Sanada die in almost every Hollywood project he gets cast in?! Rina Sawayama who played his daughter and of course Donnie Yen were also fantastic! Should leave on a high at 4 movies with Stahelski & Keanu moving on to new projects as Len Wiseman shoots the Ana De Armas 'The Ballerina' spin-off & the 3-part 'The Continental' TV Show comes out later this year. RIP Lance Reddick!

Akira is actually played by Rina Sawayama in her first movie role. She's a really successful singer in real life and was hired when the director saw her choreography in her music videos. She also performed the song at the credits
Mr Sanada is a brilliant swordsman I really hoped his character would have had a fair fight (longer where he is not already shot). Yen vs Sanada is just a dream come true.
I saw this film in IMAX. It was glorious madness, and I loved every minute of it. Great reaction! 👍🏿
Donnie Yen is the truth. Brilliant performance. Loved Scott Adkins in a fat suit as well
I saw this in theaters a week ago. Simply incredible!!! Donnie Yen was (as expected) an absolute highlight of a beast.

Chapter 4 was the best of the franchise for me. Some fight scenes were particularly longer than it needed to be but still I had so much fun watching this.Chapter 4 is done we have MI 7 next. Its gonna be good.

Everything about this was so gorgeously done and over the top.
They probably used every single stunt person available.

The action never stops. Believe it or not Tracker is my favorite character in John Wick 4. His a Bounty Hunter along with his dog. Not to mention cool GunSlinger.

I can't believe how good this movie was. I'm still in shock after finishing it.
Scott Adkins as Killa was awesome!! So glad to finally see him in the series. He stole all the scenes he was in.
Fun fact: Marko Zaro, the Marquis' heavy or henchman played Raul in Undisputed 3, the guy that fought Boyka in the end. It was awesome seeing Adkins and Zaro in the same movie again.
Another Fun fact: It's the second time Nat Tena's playing a character that has a heavy who only says one phrase due to a mental condition. In Game of Thrones it was "Hordor" and in John Wick 4 it's "I am Klaus".

Klaus is the real-life doorman/bouncer at club Berghain, the club infamous for rejecting people trying to get in. Famous celebrities and world-renown DJs who previously performed have been denied.

Wow I cannot believe you guys waited this long to watch this on streaming. Considering Jaby was so hyped for this movie.
I'm guessing all the more dangerous stunts is where the double comes in, like whenever Wick gets thrown into stuff or falls from somewhere. Anything that's just fighting and shooting is probably all Keanu.
And the stunt driving was Keanu too.
Easily the best John Wick movie out of the whole trilogy in my opinion, a straight 10/10 💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.

I feel sad that you guys missed it from watching it in theatres. It was an different experience.
I think that my favourite part about all John Wick's movies is that they are consistent, and while the action becomes more grandiose, it remains in the ballpark of reality.
Like, bulletproof armour and suits are still a danger to John. They still soak up ammunition just to get close enough to them, and John has to consistently reinvent himself in order to get around that protection.
Ultimate experience in theater
