I guess each jurisdiction is different, bc where I live we didn’t hVe a choice when my 17 year old died of a sudden heart attack. Untimely death gets an autopsy. And it was done by morning. Course it took about 7 months for the coroner to say cause and manner of death. And believe me, I wanted answers. But it is very horrifying to think of your loved one being sliced up. 😔

I love all these intelligent and articulate female witnesses (in front of a misogynistic defendant).
Mormonism is misogynistic (multiple wives, no women are allowed to serve in high positions in the church, the man rules the home, etc), so we tend to see it more in this demographic.
Huh. This is a murder trial stemming of the most disgusting woman in Idaho and Arizona history mirdering multiple people. The defense attorney isn’t getting paid enough to even be there and in America someone has to defend these losers. Stay focused. That’s literally his job- to cast doubt in the jury’s mind. He only needs to get ONE juror to not be VERY sure. He’s actually very good at it. Unfortunately for him there’s too much evidence pointing to Chud being a K!ller

Nate, I live in Utah, and regarding mainstream media, East Idaho News and you are my favorite. You are great at your job. You explain things well regarding the Daybell cases and keep us updated. I am sorry you have to cover such a sad devastating case, but it needs to be done, and you do it so well. I love the Secret Santa and honoring people for their special acts of kindness, also. Most news stations are very political and tell you how to think, therefore I watch alternative news that does not repeat over and over again a certain agenda. I like real news, not just snippets of the news, where they tell people what and how to think.

He said it repeatedy on purpose. Also, he is rude, obnoxious, a know-all, completely self-centred and oblivious to the feelings of others. Poor Judge Boyce! What patience and excellent manners.
@@lindatannocklol he did it on purpose to point out how insensitive it was that she was “dug up” and no one even bothered to tell her family. He also repeats key points a LOT to hammer those points home for the jury. That’s why he KEPT saying it. Y’all don’t seem to get that defense lawyers use a ton of psychology to bias the jury to side with them 😂. That makes him SMART. He’s a great lawyer- you guys just can’t acknowledge that because you’re not self aware regarding your bias.
if he did it on purpose then how can he also be oblivious? Also, if you pay attention you’ll notice that he treats different types of witnesses VERY different- on purpose. He was very gentle with Colby (a victim)- as to not offend the jury, and very harsh with detectives (the enemy) to show the jury that they can’t be trusted. He knows when to go hard or soft and not offend the jury. You’re offended because you are biased. Ppl who know nothing about this case (jurors) haven’t formed an opinion yet, and thus don’t hate chad, and by extension don’t automatically hate his lawyer just because he’s representing him. This happens in every single trial, the viewers loath the defense attorney. They’re not there to win a personality contest, they’re there to get ONE juror to doubt the evidence. Just one.

Hey Nate. You are great! ????observation really…. I’ve been watching the Karen Read trial as well, and I’ve noticed in that courtroom when an objection is made, the lawyer doesn’t have to say why. They just say objection. That’s it.. sounds odd to me as I’m used to hearing the why.
Different states practice the rules of evidence differently. I think in most states however you at least have to state hearsay, leading, argumentative, narrative, outside scope, non responsive , or the rule number.

Thanks Catherine…I didn’t realize that about rules of evidence regarding objections. Interesting. Things certainly go along much quicker when the lawyer just has to say ‘objection’ and the judge rules. A time savor, tho I like to hear the reasoning for the objection.

@lisapurplehayes it's mind boggling. I started specializing in cyber security and digital forensics when I watched Nate's hawaii interview. I wondered how could a reporter ask such straight forward questions and not receive any response. Then the saga unfolds. Oh God every digital forensic data was absolutely compiled. Zulema handing over Alex device was the key else the HR would have never been found. RIP JJ Tylee Tammy and Charles. Hope to see Justice
