No honor for her mother, no empathy towards the children buried in her father’s back yard. She cried when her father was being arrested, but not one tear for her mother. Perjured herself on the stand. Lied about the officers wanting to explain the autopsy results. They were kind to her. I am so glad they have her recorded. I would take my kids out of her class and petition the school system to prevent her from teaching children. Garth and her husband are also teachers. Are these the type of people anyone parent would want teaching their children? They are dangerous. All 3 of them need to be terminated from that school district & from teaching in the State.

I think after, this parents are going to be skeptical. Before, most people felt sorry for the kids, now it’s obvious that they’re no better than their father. My children won’t allow anyone to say a single negative thing about their deceased father, if anything negative is said, they justify it. Their father wasn’t perfect, but he loved them and that’s all they care about. These kids have no love or respect for their mom, even though she was a kind, loving and nurturing mother to them, they betrayed her and they betrayed her memory. It’s disgusting and disturbing. I hope the jury isn’t fooled by these awful people.

Surely you aren’t implying law enforcement doesn’t apply pressure to people they think are lying to get them to crack.
They even had a 2nd grand jury to look into charging him with lying. That Grand Jury declined to do so. Which tells me they didn’t buy their suspicion that he was lying.
I believe pretty much everything he and his sister said. But I am certain their father is clearly guilty.
Neither attorney asked them any questions that would reveal their reasons for claiming he is innocent. For example, they both acknowledged JJ and Tylee’s bodies were found in their father’s yard. Neither was asked how they think they ended up there without his involvement.
When asked if she knew her father had labeled her mother a dark spirit, the daughter said she had never heard that. Well, they could have had her read the texts between Chad and Lori where he says just that.
They were never asked any of those types of questions or why they believe he is innocent. Instead they were asked about dates and times of certain events and who was present.
And they answered honestly, and everyone is mad at them for not turning on their dad.
I guess we’ll have to wait for their book to come out where they explain everything as they see it.
He has to do the best he can with what he has. I would hate it if Chad got off because his attorney didn't do his very best.

Unlike you, I believe almost nothing the children said. Their scripted responses, hitting every single talking point before even asked, was just weird. And no, they didn't answer honestly. Garth got his script mixed up right off the bat. Emma outright lied about her and her mother going to a presentation and signing up for more insurance without the husbands's knowledge. Outright lied. Chad not only signed it, but the date was a Sunday. If she deliberately lied about that, why should one believe a word coming out of her mouth?
Two children were missing and later found brutally killed. Thank God LE did absolutely everything in their power to bring justice. And yes, LE is allowed to lie, put pressure, etc. None of that is against the law.
As far as this type of argument goes "Neither was asked how they think they ended up there without his involvement.", they are not allowed to speculate on the stand.
Back to my original comment and your response, JP is focusing so much on "they weren't told about the autopsy", "LE followed them" etc. etc. implying that LE doing their utmost to get to the truth is somehow bad. It is not helping one iota to prove Chad's innocence. The children's hurt feelings and hatred for LE is besides the point. It is a DP case after all.
The exhumation would have been a complete surprise to the Daybell kids. It usually is the decision of someone who cares about the deceased to find out true cause of death, not the decision of those who could not care less.

You know, the town Tammy and her whole family were from, the town his client lived in most of his life, the town that has been mentioned dozens of times in this trial already. My thoughts too! Scary to think he’s a teacher. What would he do in an active shooter situation?
1. Suggesting it was actually a paintball gun and NO ONE has come forward to say he was playing a prank with a paintball gun that night in that area.
2. Garth arrived home around 1 AM. His absence before that gave Chad time to let Alex in to kill Tammy around 11 on the 18th. Prior is focusing on when Garth was home. Chad snored after Tammy was killed. What an image.
I thought the same thing, but neither attorney asked him about that being possible. Only what he saw and heard.
And witnesses proved Alex purchased the scope mentioned in Joe Murray and Daybell testimony... either way, a stranger with a ski mask pointing a weapon and firing said weapon is never a joke.
We all come home from work and flop on the couch. We all have moments we don't feel like cooking. And we all love to go to bed early just to relax, be by yourself - chill out. None of these are reasons to assume someone is weak and sick.

Maybe Tammie was acting different at home than school because she knew things were bad at home and not happy. But school was the place she could be hetself and relax!! I am not convinced Tammie didnt sense something was very very wrong in her family!!

Sorry not sorry, but the kids are strange. They're not only unemotional when talking about their mom, but they're seemingly taking Chad's side and are defensive of him. Bland as all heck too. I can hardly listen bc of the way they talk. They remind me of their dad they all talk the same it's unnerving!!!!
Neither of these adult children seem very bright. They talk very slowly and haltingly and seem not to understand or recall the simplest things readily.

He states hes an introvert but hes an 8th grade teacher , most likely he wasnt before he found out that his dad is a serial killer but now he is bc he is associated with his dad and everyone in that town now is talking about his family and now probably bullying the kids bc of chad and lori . I cant imagine knowing that my parent is a serial killer and sit on the stand and lie my ass off , id be helping put them behind bars for the rest of their lives , not trying to keep them out .

Yes, I agree. The questioning was unbelievable. Chads adult kids were spoken to as tho they were little children. Abd the kids were utterly emotionless, their tones were so monotone they sounded like robots !!!
They sounded more like they were hypnotised than brainwashed !!!! If the son thinks he had a close relationship with his mother I'd hate to see him if he had an estranged relationship her, b'cos that's what he sounds like he had. It's frustrating that so many logical questions were never asked !!!!! And Chad sat there like he was the master puppeteer, controlling each one of his puppets !!!!
