After more than a decade of making music together, twin siblings Phoenix and Mercedes Arn-Horn seized the opportunity to explore something new and different, not knowing where the road would lead them. Driven by the upheaval that seemed to dominate the bulk of 2020, including the mobilization of the Black Lives Matter movement that resulted from the killing of George Floyd, as well as the social and financial inequality exacerbated by the pandemic, the siblings found themselves channeling their frustration with the world at large into the music they were creating. Seamlessly combining grunge, shoegaze, dreampop, and punk into their music with a message, Softcult has quickly become the band inspiring a new Riot Grrrl movement for the digital age. Check out Softcult on Audiotree Live!
Recorded live on March 25, 2023 in Chicago, IL.

now this is how you do live versions of songs. You take what was already amazing and make it even more amazing. Holy fuck. Straight to the play list this goes.
This band is beyond talented…I’m a HUGE Softcult fan, they literally have ZERO skips in their ENTIRE discography
Absolutely agree
Yea
Love her tone as sick as it is, she's know her stuff.
This was a religious experience
My whole life has changed.
Oh, I love this screamo part in the end. Awesome performance guys!!!
just when you thought it couldn't get any better that comes in!
I thought the same thing , who is that guy that screams i wanna hear more from him
I think they should record this type of version of the song and make it definitive version. It sounds better than the original one.
Yeah this needs to be the definitive version of the song now. That awesome slam like poem, the screams at the end, the awesome jam, this is brilliant. Surpasses the original by miles and miles, and even that one was freakin amazing.
no way better than original
This version of “UZUMAKI” is emotional and wonderful! And above all, it is beautiful!
Love it when Iggy comes in on the chorus!
Brilliant performance, absolutely stunning delivery of your poetry. Brilliant!
Softcult never fails! I loved this live version! Especially Brent singing!

Conheci pelo INSTAGRAM! tô curtindo muito. A baterista só podia ser um pouquinho mais complexa, mais tá valendo.
Feb 10th bishes, jkjk.i hope I can get this engraved momento, tomorrow. Fingers crossed, Can you believe that the opening band of Beartooth, played an NSync, song AND I was probably only fan at a Metal show with an NSync, tour shirt on

naruto
Naruto Uzumaki
Des zxx
holy hell this is cringey for a multitude of reasons lol
Glad I'm not the only one
Why?(The speech at the beginning. That is little cringey)
Tell me you don't know what the song is about without telling me you don't know what the song is about.
the truth hurts, buddy
what? a song speaking out against r*pe and traumatic experiences and trying to get over it, is cringy? how tell us you are a predator without telling us
Those guys don't have any shame? It's a blatant rip off of loathe - two-way mirror. If u can't write ur own music just don't.
In this comment section there is another accusation about song sounding very similar to completely different band's song too. Maybe its the sound that sounds similar not the song itself? Also Loathe themselves told their fans to stop with accusations.(it was more aggressive version of what I told. They told fans to f off with the accusations). Softcult does have one song that is very obvious plagiarism but its not this one. I do think that they should make those two guys official members of the band and not for just live performances because it does seem that with them they create a better version of the song and if its blatant rip off , this version of the rip off is a better song than the original song two way mirror.
every song rips off a song if you think about it lol.
Still sounds better than Loathe though
Hey guess what buddy? Both songs are good!
didnt need a audiotree session. I like the music of the shopping mall goths but i just somehow thinks it was unnecessary to record them
