    Handstand programs & workouts for all levels and 1000+ of exercises for handstand and bodyweight strength is available in my app:
    www.bergmovement.com/movement-trybe-app
    I want this to be accessible to as many as possible, so please remember that if you are in a less fortunate economic situation, you can apply for discounts (25-75%) or a scholarship. Applications are found on the same link :)

    How do you not have 5M subscribers at this point? Your app is fantastic; progress occurs just as you say it will, over time, with attention, little by little, and with patience, and your TH-cam videos are honest and answer questions and concerns I have in the process. We need more Sondre Bergs in the world.

    Thank you, so helpful! I’m finally getting 10-20 second holds consistently, but still slightly banana. This should help a lot.

    I think this is the most important video on how to go from a intermediate with a handstand to advanced and hold is for an unlimited amount of time repeatedly and consistently, thank you so much Sondre, ur the best cali TH-camr

    Bro I just found your channel, I'm binge watching your handstand videos as I struggle with the shoulder flexion... My handstand got worse as I had an injury and had time without practice and I lost the "feeling of the handstand"... When I do HSPU I struggle with staying up, or when I push it up I tend to lose control, so I'm back to the basics. Thanks for the valuable info

    I once broke my toe on a closet just like you have in the background while doing a handstand (I was about 9 years old). I fell on the handle (they were a bit bigger) of a drawer with the more fragile upper side of my foot. Your videos make me anxious and till today I need to have a 3x3m Space for handstands.

    Can you do a video about your personal training routine / split, days and duration, do you do barbell squats or typical gym exercises like bench press or bicep curls etc, how do you split strength with skills training, should I prioritise skills over strength training

    Thanks soooo much for this, brother! I've been piking in my handstands for so long, and I feel like it always put a little pressure on my lower spine. I didn't know what was wrong. I'm gonna try shifting my hips and see if that fixes it!

    Sondre, my current handbalance coach’s opinion is that internal rotation should be avoided at all cost and external rotation is more beneficial. Could you make a separate about the differences and pros/cons between the two. Would be interested in the intricacies of why one or the other is recommended by different coaches.

    What do you think about a more playful approach to learning handstands and walking on hands? If our goal isn't necessarily to get a nice looking gymnastics handstand, wouldn't it be ok to focus solely on getting time on hands?
    I understand this might lead to bad form or injuries, but any approach will require attention to things that might not feel right in order to minimize the chance of injuries.

      Just to specify, when I say time on hands, I am talking about total volume, not best single.

    Hey Sondre, really enjoying this handstand series as correcting my banana back has been a goal of mine.
    I’m interested as to your thought about eyes down vs looking back in handstands. I can hold an “eyes down” handstand for around a minute relatively consistently but find it a lot harder looking back. Would you consider looking back “perfect form”? Any tips on making the transition?

    • @Sondre_Berg
      @Sondre_Berg  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I consider looking back a skill by itself that can be cool, but nothing more - you’ll get much more in return for training more advanced shapes looking down 😊

    I don't know why but I can't keep my pelvis straight in handstand. It rotates to the right. Do you have any tips on that?

    I can L sit to handstand on dip bars about 3 times. I take a 5min break between each, but I get tired on my 4th set any advice

  • @dominojachas1540
    @dominojachas1540 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    If I have only 5 minutes every hour during my sitting work every day, what's the best exercise/drill to increase my flexibility? I am currently working on my handstand to get rid of banana shape and also trying to generally increase my mobility as I become a big fan of calistenics. I will do the press handstand eventually!

      It’s in the works 😊 Please remember the work behind these tutorials 😅 even though a tutorial may be as short as 10-15 minutes, there is around 30 hours of work behind each and every one of them including the planning, scripting, filming and editing
