Fr the big 3 are so funny I crack up watching these guys but also enjoy them entertain me and love whenever they show their opinions and knowledge like they know so much but also bring humor by just being themselves which makes this channel so great
My favourite bit is that Mayfield takes off his mask of being a too-casual person who jokes about everything, and reveals that it hides an _enormous_ amount of pain, guilt, and hate - and that it happens at the same time that Din has to remove his own helmet to show the person he's always hiding underneath. It's exactly why after Mayfield blows up the base, you see both him and the Mandalorian go back to their regular selves, and you know that he can trust that he won't talk about seeing Mando's true face - because Mando saw his true face, too.
Duuuuuude. I'm so glad you left in more of your reactions. Some of my favorite reactions ever were Hector turning into a Tía when Pedro's face was exposed. 🧑🏾🦱 ¡Órale!
I think Bill Burr absolutely CRUSHED it in this episode! That tense moment at the table when he was listening to the Imperial officer, you can see the struggle on Mayfeld's face as he makes the decision to kill the officer. The subtext of the moment is written on Mayfeld's face. Brilliant!
Great little detail: after he takes his helmet off, whenever Din looks at someone, he looks *directly* at them. He's always wearing a helmet, so he's not used to using his peripheral vision, so looking out of the corner of his eyes at someone doesn't come naturally to him. Great subtle detail work by Pedro Pascal there.
06:18 LOL! An emotional/tense moment where Mando shows how much he cares about Grogu, that he is willing to break his nr 1 rule to save him and you guys turn it into the biggest/most ridiculous joke! hahaha.
During the beginning of the episode: "Why are we spending so much time with Bill Burr's character?" By the end of it: "No Bill Burr, don't go!! You're such a good character!!"
To reiterate, because I have left this as a comment before... I'm so glad you 3 are back in my feed. Your knowledge and enthusiasm is unmatched and refreshing in this cancel culture society. Thank you.
“Everyone has a line in the sand they won’t cross until it gets messy.” IMO that line is what makes this episode very good. Mando and Billy red nuts cross that line in this episode and it gives both some more depth. You do need some episodes where you give the main characters some more depth if you want the audience to be invested in them.
What an Episode guys haha I personally loved it, the tension, the character development and PEDRITO PASCAL HOMMIES! hahaha Loved the Reaction as always!
I really want to see the conversation between Mando and Bo Katan. "I really need your help taking down my nemesis. His name is Moff Gideon and I've just located him..." Bo: "What!?! First of all no! Second of all yes! And why are we still talking!?!"
Richard Brake was also great in that scene with Bill Burr and Pedro Pascal. Also I loved the nod to Sorcerer which if you haven't seen I HIGHLY recommend you see it ASAP!
Action was stellar. Damn Bill Burr really made me feel his anguish. Played Battlefront II and Operation Cinder was a part of that. Nice throwback with Slave 1 sonic charges. Finale is going to rock!
This season, especially the second part, has kind of a Mass Effect 2 vibe, the way they are assembling a team and finding the final boss location. I REALLY felt that
Loved your "calling your grandson handsome in Spanish" routine. This episode felt a tiny bit stripped for footage - are you guys getting copyright strikes? I was hoping to see your reaction to the inside of Slave 1 rotating during take-off, or to Fett's "Let's just say they might recognize my face," or Bill Burr's quips, and of course, more of the big tense scene around 7:08.
Lol thanks for noticing! I tend to have oily hair so I shampoo once, maybe twice a week and I love to use Mixed Chicks conditioner at night. Let it try and use argon oil in the morning
That whole convo of Operation: Cinder which is from the Shattered Empire mini-series & Battlefront II, was my favorite part. The seismic explosion was a sweat call back. You can find the Rogue One ship that the squadron hijacks to take to Scarif is on top of the base. Cool episode, I love this show. This is my Game of Thrones.
Love the callback of OPERATION CINDER to the Shattered Empire comics and the BATTLEFRONT II game. The Emperor's posthumous scorched Earth operation on various planets. And Ted Lasso is exactly the kindness-driven show I needed this month.
I love all the reactions from you guys!! I’ve been following you since the Superhero News days!! I just wish you put more footage of the show in with your reactions. I know you can only put in so much due to copyright, but other reactors show a lot more without a problem. I’m just selfish, I want to see more from you guys 😁
The video footage is cut that way so disney cant claim the footage, all reviewers change the footage in some way to do the same. Great review guys loving the vids.
But all reviewers also have more than like, -2 minutes of total footage for a 40 minute episode; that’s the issue here. I’ve seen countless reactions to this very episode in the past couple hours & I haven’t seen a single one cut this way. & as others have stated, this is not up to par with this channel’s own standards. None of their other reaction videos are like this. Doesn’t mean they’re not great tho, just hope the next one is on par with all their other reaction videos unlike this one.
@@brogie1151 I'm sure there was a reason for this one being cut the way it is if it hasn't been done in the past. Just enjoy the free reaction and spending time with the homies
In the Star Wars radio drama, Han also complains that the stormtrooper’s armor he stole smelled inside. 😄 And Han’s blaster also jammed (in the trash compactor).
I love you guys. I've always loved you guys. I love the new channel! I eagerly await your videos. So know where I'm coming from, please, when I say that I couldn't finish this video. The "reaction" editing was too difficult. I believe you get 10 minutes of fair use to put up there; and thus, I was kind of mystified by the chopping cuts and 3 seconds of footage punctuated by 10-15 seconds of you reacting - but I didn't know WHAT you were reacting to. Made it really, really, really hard to follow and enjoy the reaction. :-( Just some feedback, guys! Your other edits usually aren't like this, that's all. (Feedback for the next video, which I will eagerly watch!)
I said this when you guys were on Hyper RPG and I'll say it now. You guys deserve millions of subscribers. The only reactors on youtube who know so much about the comics and can explain things that much of us don't know about. Keep it coming! I hope you guys react to all the new marvel shows coming too
Why is everybody surprised that Din sounds exactly the same in a Stormtrooper helmet as he does in a Mando one? Are they expecting the vocabulator sound systems in them to be different somehow? Luke still sounded like Luke in a Stormtrooper helmet. Why wouldn't Din?
Like the new Star Wars themed intro. Subtle, but effective. Bill Burr was surprisingly good in this as an actor. Conveyed the character development well. Cannot wait for Friday and the finale!
Agustin is that the black panther African blanket used my Angelia Basset! I think you mentioned that during the Black Panther trailer that you had one! I just can't tell if it's a sweater with the same design or a blanket.
Oh my god Adam we have to get a beer sometime lmao, you are the first person, out of all my friends who have watched the show, out of all the youtubers I haver seen react to it, you are the first person to speak out against the Boba paintjob and I could not agree more haha. Truly was geeked to finally see someone share that opinion.
i will contend that this episode surpassed what we all expected case and point, bill burrs character's dialogue with mando. i think this episode solidified where mando stands in his moral dilemma, is he a mandalorian whether or not he takes his helmet off or not? what makes you a mandalorian? sticking by a rule like never taking your helmet off, or sacrificing that to save your family? this by far was in my top 3 favorite episodes because of bill burr alone, he was the star of this episode because he played the supporting antagonist to mando.
I love the new paint job for Boba. The matte finish is sharp. But I do miss the wear and tear, though the Cobb version of the armor was a bit too beat up IMO. My hope is they will show some wear and tear on it as time goes on and let us see where he earns the new dings and dents.
Loved this episode, Bill Burr was amazing! The biggest (not really) complaint I've heard from friends and reactors was why they gave up the element of surprise by calling Moff Gideon. Five bucks says they're already on board the cruiser, lol. "The calls coming from *inside* the house!"
I HATE the previously on! It almost always spoils something immediately, especially returning characters. I don’t even have enough time to hit skip before it spoils something.
