Great footage of the Panthers, albeit under the US Army’s capture. Does anyone know what the America tank crews thought of em?
US tankers were often dismayed to see their 75 and 76mm shots bounce off the Panthers frontal armour even at 400 yards.
@@frankvandergoes298You would not want to be inside a Panther(or any other tank) even if one of those non penetrating rounds made contact. Bee swarm of ballistic metallic micro particles looking for something to stop them, IE your face. Then the penetrating shot that bounced from below as depicted.
@@johnhaller7017 Not really John, plenty of instances of Panthers taking multiple hits without any damage or casualties.
I,m sure you are aware of the tests done in Normandy July 1944 where 1 Panther took 29 hits to its frontal armour, no spalling, no cracking and no penetration.

German Tankers referred the Sherman tank as the “Tommy” cooker. After on hit the tank went up in 🔥 The Sherman crew’s were lead to believe they were in the finest tank created.

I have teachers showing my videos to kids, so no I will not show mutilated bodies for a few weirdos. It also doesn't add anything of historical value. Not to mention that it's against the YT rules and it will completly destroy this channel when YT is already trying to destroy historical channels, so I'm not giving them a reason to take this channel down.
