    That was well worth the wait…beautifully executed. The weathering is pretty much perfect as far as I’m concerned. I think the square zimmerit looks so much cooler to weather. 👏🏽

    As always a joy to watch. I have been experimenting with the 'wood filler' method of Zimmeriting, and the results are very pleasing so far. When this video was released I only watched the Zimmerit stage. Now I have completed the whole video. Well worth the 39.17 minutes in my opinion.

    Nice work. But showing the Zimmerite tank on the box when it is not in the box is dirty. See where there is information about it. Certainly not in the first place. And for many it is important.

    @andrewstamford1988 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Not having built a kit for.... let's say many years.... and back then only ever with the squeeze tube type cement applied sparingly to the edges, when you use the extra thin cement, which is designed to flow into joints, there is always some cement that remains on the pieces next to the joins and creates a visible film.
    Does that effect the surface of the part or cause problems for paint application?

    • @CWModelling
      @CWModelling  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as you don't stick a finger in it whilst its wet then it won't affect the paint....if it bothers you then get hold of a Fibreglass Pencil which you can use to get rid of the 'stain'👍

    • @andrewstamford1988
      @andrewstamford1988 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CWModelling Thanks for that.
      I know I shouldn't expect perfection 1st time round (but I do) after all these years. I should just stop dithering and get a small, inexpensive kit, and put one together, practice on a few more, and stop worrying about being 'brilliant'. It's meant to be fun after all!
      Thanks again for the reply, it's much appreciated. Thanks also for the effort you put into your videos and sharing them with the rest of us.
