This is the fastest I've ever clicked on an Addie Counts reaction! So glad you got to watch this! ❤ RIP Quincy Jones, he has a cameo in this movie as well 😭
For someone who hasn't seen the Bond movies, I'm impressed Addie had a good grasp on the story flow and enjoyed the risque humor of these movies. This franchise is one of those lightning in a bottle movies. With "modern" Hollywood, it's never gonna be this good anymore.
I once slipped on a banana peel. That's my most cartoon moment. Surprisingly, banana peels really are very slippery when the inside of the peel is face down on the floor.
0:25 I couldn't tell you how many times I've accidentally done that in my lifetime. Luckily it never gave me a headache though. Oh. And also, "daddy wasn't there."
As others have said, this is my favorite of the three. Of course this one wouldn't be weird were it not for the first two. Addie WINS!!!! As we say in Texas; y'all be safe.
Only thing is the edit missing the chase scene with the country accent on the CB radios is sooooo funny!!! Other than that great reaction and very fun to watch again with you!!!!
Addie is too cool ro tell her story. That should be your intro, Addie story of the day. Great reaction. Laughter is the best medicine specially for headaches 😂 Love this girl❤
I have stepped on a rake that was laying flat on a lawn and got hit hard on my forehead. Painful, but amusing for everyone else! 😂 I have also slipped on a banana skin and torn my hamstring! 😂🤣😂 I can laugh about it now!
I Luv your comical rake story! Ouch! Scott Evil's hair cracks me up! They had great bits again in this movie! The shadow one is classic! Thanks again Addie!❤️💛
Hard Knock Life is obviously from the musical Annie, but it was also sampled by Jay-Z in his song “hard knock life (ghetto anthem)” which came out in 1998. Definitely worth a listen, it’s a great song! It’s what the scene with Mini Me and Dr Evil is based on.
RIP Quincy Jones the legendary composer of 'Soul Bossa Nova'. Also, Addie is the only person I know of when they say " I will never hear 'Hard Knock Life' the same way" you know she mean from Annie (1982) even though it's the Jay-Z song playing 🤣. Never change, Addie.
🤣🤣🤣 Addie, you on the back of that bike smiling & making goo-goo eyes at Dr. Evil as the song ends killed it for me, girl.. I'm dead. I spit my drink up & everything, lmao.. Had there been a rake lying around me, I prolly woulda stepped on it I was laughing so much... AYYYYE! Bwhahaha! #rakecallback🤣🤣☠😘❤ All outta love tho girl, 😉🙃
I was hoping for a bit from the opening credits: RIP Quincy Jones (he did just pass away two days ago though). "This is where the movie gets its mojo, baby."
Addie, I know it's a commitment(16 seasons and counting).. but 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' is 100% right up your alley! It's proper ridiculous humour
Can't stress enough how much of an amazing job for the casting of young Austin and Dr. Evil. They are so much like their older counterparts 😂 Also the 'mole' joke is still the best for me.
As soon as you mentioned getting hit by a rake, I immediately thought of that clip from Simpson's of Sideshow Bob! Always a pleasure watching your reactions! ❤
24:58 ✌🏻😎🇬🇧✌🏻 I think I saw this movie sometime before I got into hard rock and heavy metal. But now that I’m a huge fan, this part always makes me crack up the most of this movie. “Rock and Roll!!”
I've stepped on a rake before. I was running cable on the outside of a house and looking down. I caught myself fully about an inch above my eye, hard enough to draw blood and leave a bruise for days. So I moved the rake to the side, and then 10 minutes later I side stepped onto it catching myself near my ear, no damage apart from my pride that time at least.
7:18 - "Oh Austin is going to have fun with the two of them." - Not only do they have suggestive sounding names, the joke is even more clever because it follows typical Asian name conventions, where the family name comes first, and then the person's individual name.
I think what people who weren't around at the time these movies were coming out (or at the very least, weren't paying attention) don't really understand is that Austin Powers was pretty much the biggest franchise in cinema at the time and Mike Meyers was a certified superstar. That's a big reason that Goldmember has so many high-profile cameos, because literally everyone was trying to get a piece of that action. And then of course Meyers basically tanked his commercial career for the next two decades (aside from voicing Shrek) with the flop that was "The Love Guru", lol.
There's a million fun facts I could share in response to this groovy vid, but I shall settle w/ Foxy's distraction guy being played by Nathan Lane (Timon in The Lion King)
11:08 "You Guys Are Good At Synching Up" Hey, Addie, the actor who played the person who Foxy synchronized her dialogue with is none other than Nathan Lane, the voice-over actor who played Timon in the animated version of "The Lion King"
I'm about to date myself here, but I was 15, about to turn 16 when this movie came out and I actually saw it in theaters. It was my first date. The girl I was seeing at the time and I were supposed to go see Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones but by the time we were able to go the movie wasn't playing in any theaters in my area, and this was the only movie that was out that we both wanted to see, so that's what we did. I got it on DVD later on as well. It's still one of my favourite movies from the 2000s.
Good reaction to this one. You are really into it. Another movie, that fits your sense of humor is the 2001 "Evolution". It doesn't get much coverage by reactors but it is a hoot.
I just found out that Quincy Jones passed away this weekend! RIP Quincy Jones (March 14, 1933 - November 3, 2024) ❤
Fun fact: he was a homosexual communist who attended NUMEROUS 'parties'

So sad
You plebs care about a homosexual communist? Pathetic...

That was my first thought when I saw the news, Noo the sweetheart in the gold member intro
@HylianCheshire one of the greatest actors in the world!!!!😔😔😔😔
You shall now be known as Sideshow Addie.

Addie edited on the motorcycle during Hard Knock Life actually gave me a good laugh. I needed that today.
So what is Hard Knock Life? Never heard of it.
This is the fastest I've ever clicked on an Addie Counts reaction! So glad you got to watch this! ❤
RIP Quincy Jones, he has a cameo in this movie as well 😭
I'm so glad they put the Sideshow Bob clip because that was immediately the first thing I thought of. 😂
Slightly less embarrassing than looking the wrong way and walking into a pole on the street.
I give Goldmember the award for the best opening sequence of the trilogy!
Mike Myers wrote the opening movie skit as a joke,
thinking nobody would or could do any of it
& everything came together & they all did it
Austin punting Mini Me across the room always cracks me up. Like the thought is horrible but the timing and impact are just so over the top. 😂
This movie's shadow scene is one of the most hilarious things i've ever seen. i absolutely died the first time.
For someone who hasn't seen the Bond movies, I'm impressed Addie had a good grasp on the story flow and enjoyed the risque humor of these movies.
This franchise is one of those lightning in a bottle movies. With "modern" Hollywood, it's never gonna be this good anymore.
Goldmember is my favourite of the three Austin Powers movies. Mike Myres crushed it as four separate characters. Pure Gold.
Beautiful to see you enjoying movies. Knob-gags never age. RIP Quincy.
Immediately going for West Side Story, reacting to "Hard-Knock Life"... Addie cannot hide the fact that she's a theater kid any longer. 😂
I'm a theater kid through and through 😂
@@AddieCounts So how about a musical? It's cook if it's a rewatch. Love to see you watch Little Shop of Horrors
Screw the critics, this one is my favorite movie.
Quincy Jones passed away over the weekend. We can credit him for his song "Soul Bosanova", which is this movies main theme. RIP Mr. Jones 😥
So, I too love gold. And this is the movie that makes me say it the golden member way. GGGOOLLDD!
This is probably my favourite Austin Powers movie. Slightly ahead of the first one.
100k ?
Raking in those subscibers I see ;)
Don't let that get to your head :D
Congratulations on that milestone :)
Bless your heart. Those rogue rakes can jump up when you least expect it.
Needed something light-hearted today. Thanks Addie!
I once slipped on a banana peel. That's my most cartoon moment. Surprisingly, banana peels really are very slippery when the inside of the peel is face down on the floor.
RIP Quincy Jones! Thank You for a lifetime of amazing and phenomenal music!
Thank you, this was such a delight in a bad time
I love your almost continual sense of confusion and shock

I've always heard that this one is the best of the 3 and I agree! 👍

What I’m getting from the story time with Addie is that Addie got Sideshow Bob’d lmao
Now I'm just trying to imagine Addie making the same grumbling noise as Kelsey Grammer
Omg. That intro was hilarious! 🤘😎✌️

R.I.P. Quincy Jones, Verne Troyer (Mini-Me) and Burt Bacarach. Mike Myers has a Austin Powers 4 Script and it may start Filming in 2025.
As long as there's no Beyonce
rip quincy jones
Michael Caine was in another funny comedy, called "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels", alongside Steve Martin.
Michael Caine gives the most amazing singing performance in Little Voice.
Of course Nigel Powers’ car being a Mini is a reference to Michael Caine’s leading role in The Italian Job.

Actually, the proper form of address is, young Master Evil.

The Rake Story™ alone is worth the price of admission. Also, you might want to get evaluated for a concussion.
I love the name given to Beyoncé's character. Foxxy Cleopatra is just alluring and badass at the same time.
Addie, I know it's a commitment(16 seasons and counting).. but 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' is 100% right up your alley! It's proper ridiculous humour
The 3rd is easily my favorite of the 3.
Addie refuses to go on the concussion protocol so she can record a reaction for us.❤
13:28 The "Addie Evil " origin story begins here!
Can't stress enough how much of an amazing job for the casting of young Austin and Dr. Evil. They are so much like their older counterparts 😂 Also the 'mole' joke is still the best for me.

'So I Married an Axe Murderer' is a good movie where Mike Meyers is developing his skills.
"It's like an orange on a toothpick!"
1:06 cyeah, its last one. But there still is Cat in The Hat 😅 good fun for whole family 👍
The leads did reunite for a Super Bowl commercial (available on TH-cam) a few years back
My favorite part was the opening.
This was such a fun movie! Glad you loved it!
just LOVE the cameos in this one…anyone think that maybe Austin Powers & Ethan Hunt are long lost relatives or something? 😂😂😂

Speaking of Comedy, I recommend Anchorman 2, Naked Gun 2&3, Ted 1&2, The Other Guys, Harold & Kumar trilogy & The Hangover trilogy 😉.

I've done the "rake" thing before myself, and was probably just as surprised as you were when it happened. Holy shit, this can really happen? LOL

I think I saw this movie sometime before I got into hard rock and heavy metal. But now that I’m a huge fan, this part always makes me crack up the most of this movie.
“Rock and Roll!!”
For what its worth Addie, thanks to your rake incident, you have now passed Slapstick 101 with flying colors! lol
Nigel driving a Mini Cooper is a nod to the 1969 film "The Italian Job" starring Michael Caine ♥️🤟😎♥️
did you not know? 🤔 ALL NEW 100+K creators celebrate with a rake that way... TRADITION! 🤪 REALLY ENJOYED your reaction! 👍😁
At least you didn't pierce your foot. Taught you a valuable lesson about not leaving stuff lying around, I presume..?
Rakes are seriously dangerous! Turn them around when leaning them against the wall, because, yeah, I've done that too, hehe.
Hilarious Sideshow Bob reference in the start. Hopefully your head feels better quick Addie. Enjoy all your reviews
7:18 - "Oh Austin is going to have fun with the two of them." - Not only do they have suggestive sounding names, the joke is even more clever because it follows typical Asian name conventions, where the family name comes first, and then the person's individual name.
I still find it flabbergasting that the James Bond movies took the "Dr Evil and Austin are brothers" twist from the James Bond parody.
I seriously need to see the rake to the head 😂
Lol hope you are ok.
The opening monologue was great. I think once you hit 150k subs, we should get story time with Addie 😅
Love this movie! Yes, the younger version actors killed it, quality!

I know the pain of stepping on a rake. When I was a kid I didn't see the rake under the leaves and it left a big goose egg on my forehead.

Addie, I own the movie so you know I like it, but I loved seeing and hearing your reactions to so many parts, way beyond priceless, too funny..
Addie totally sideshow bob'd herself lol
**as im typing it, the image popped up ahah
The budget of this part 3 clearly went way up!
I love Nathan Lane in this. He doesn't say a word and still steals the scene. Genius!
What we really needed was a spinoff with all the Power's Girls. Imagine, Elizabeth Hurley, Heather Graham, and Beyoncé all together.
Good reaction to this one. You are really into it. Another movie, that fits your sense of humor is the 2001 "Evolution". It doesn't get much coverage by reactors but it is a hoot.
“Streets of Fire” 1984. It’s a rock & roll fable.
A mercenary is hired to rescue his ex-girlfriend, a singer who has been kidnapped.
I like how she used Sideshow Bob, also a redhead, to demonstrate what happened to her. Maybe it's a redhead thing.
27:13 Funniest scene in any movie ever. It always gets me, even though I've seen it hundreds of times by now. :D
🔔ADDIE @ 0':01 ➡ Q: WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FARMER WHO STEPPED ON A RAKE? A: HE GOT A COUPLE OF ACHERS!

Addie , we all have had that moment with hitting our head like that .🤕
"no he's really trying to be a good guy!"
"😮"
I don't care what anyone says, Goldmember is definitely the best one of the trilogy. 1 is good, but 2 is just the first movie again.
I would watch a Austin Powers prequel movie, I forgot that flash back scene was so good.
Did you actually stepped on a rake and it hit your head? Like in cartoons??! 😂😂😂
