These are great. I've collected McFarlane stuff for more than 20 years, and I have never been more ticked off at this company than now, with their chase decisions of the DK Catwoman and especially this blue version chase. My local stores are pathetic about getting product, and working on a demanding project, I can't get out and go hunting like I did years ago. So kudos to those able to get it, but dang. Freaking McFarlane putting the more desirable versions of figures out only as chases, especially something like this, where it's the truly iconic look most everyone prefers.
@dHuntersReviews Yeah, there are a variety of head scratcher decisions they've made. My "favorite" thing is hearing Todd's elaborate rationale for some questionable decision over the years, then seeing him completely reverse course or sidestep it when that rationale isn't the across-the-board hit he thought it would be. Kind of like his current adventure with "digital".
Nice review! I just found the Platinum / blue version of the Knightsend Batman at Target yesterday. They didn't have the Platinum Detective Comics 27 figure. However I was very surprised (and happy) to find the blue Az-Bats, because it's the one I wanted most, and it's currently going for like $100 on eBay, so I was relieved to find it at retail for $23. If I can find the Platinum 1st Appearance Bats at retail I'll pick him up as well, but if don't it's not a big deal because he only appeared that way on the cover of Detective 27, so I don't have as much use for that version. Although, I really like the cape on that one with the blue lining. I also found the Wally West Flash at Walmart a few days ago as well, so it's been a banner week for finding hard to get figures at retail. LOL
It would have been nice if the blue version got the same treatment as the Knightfall Batman figure did with the regular variant & then the black & gray variant. If they made it so that the red armored version was released first and then the blue was released some time later, I bet a lot of people would've been happy.
There isA part in the Knightfall Saga when he stabs the wings into the ground in front of him to block a barrage of bullies. They could move around. Kinda like spend cape.

I agree that the wings would benefit a little more work spreading, and also like a scorpion tale perhaps? the concept of an enemy impersonating you, or part of your appearance is disturbing, I could imagine a woman in armour who loves Bruce to death! ; no other will have you! ha, ha. ahhhh man, the little story, I love it! Batman can ram that dummy with the bike next time, D I miss the early days of Batman, I d mix the best villains into that genre, retro 50 - 60s cars and all with the arena in mind, guys like Bane become attractive, he looks like a gladiator, 7'? who cares I got a yellow sw robot and tech viper for base maintenance, and big boa and a 2nd 60th marine reserved 2 concepts come in mind for the arena, double bottom battle floor, and CC s throne is also a cannon turret on a vertical rail to watch, then lifts to leave once the 4 dios finished, most of my 70 figs should have a spot so now you know... good show bro

The most offensive thing they’ve done in my opinion is the platinum McFarlane toy store exclusive stuff.

It was slightly too high with the barbell so in the photo it’s just sitting in it
