- Beast Wars saved the entire Transformers universe from dying off over 20 years ago. Unfortunately, the show gets little of recognition it's due. Will this figure be impressive enough to keep the best part of Transformers history relevant?

Man hands down dinobot was always my favorite in beast wars. He looked even more fierce when he got his trans metals form later in the series. I think I’ll wait for that one instead lol
Anthony now that we getting Batman animated series on Blu-ray I say we need to get Beast Wars on Blu-ray what do you think? Man I so want it I'd love to watch this series again.

I recently talked with shout factory and they said there are no plans for bw to come to Blu-ray at this time.
AnthonysCustoms awww that's disappointing but hopefully maybe one of these days will get it. Even better if they do a limited edition that comes with a transformer. I'd pay top dollar for that!

Dang this figure looks nice. Always loved this guy in the show. And I actually would in most cases leave it in beast mode, but not for the MP ones. That robot mode just looks to nice.
Based on how well the BW figures have turned out I'm very excited for Megatron next year. I hope they eventually try the transmetals.
I dont regret buying dinobot, was iffy about the price, but once in-hand....blown away. Are you planning to get megatron?

His sword is actually pink in the show. I'm not sure if it was silver ever. But, in every scene i recall its pink regardless of the lighting.
it was silver unless something near him made it look pink
im not huge into transformers (odd becuase im an 80s baby) but this an extremely well done figure all around. comgrats
Best Wars Masterpieces are great action figures, the engineering is out of this world. A robot that transforms into an organic creature is incredibly hard to design and engineer, on top of that both modes perfectly resemble the original animation look. This MP-41 in particular is brilliant, one of the best transforming action figures I've ever seen (and will have in hand soon). I had promised myself that I wasn't going to collect Masterpieces, I bought the MP-01 presuming that it was going to be a one time only figure but then the Masterpiece turned into a line. There are a lot of TF characters and Masterpiece is an expensive line so when you're collecting lot's of brands and lines of action figures you're either very rich or though decisions have to be made. But then Takara Tomy launched the MP-32 Beast Wars (my favorite TF series) Optimus Primal and I just couldn't resist and bought it thinking "I'm just getting the Prime versions."and you probably all know how that goes, I'm buying all the Beast Wars figures. I recently came across some third party iGear Sharkticons that I loved so... I ended up buying 4, plus 4 Alicons (Savage Alicon exclusive ver. included), a Judge and an original MP-28 Hot Rod just to display with the Sharkticons... I don't see myself stopping there. Thanks for the review Anthony, I would like to see your modest, numbered in the hundreds, TF collection.

Not a fan of beast wars but this is a clean looking fig. If they can execute a Waspinator this well, i will pick that up. Fingers crossed.
Someone has got to say it. Beast Wars is superior in most ways compared to the original show.

Im AMAZED that you like transformers. Mostly becuase you never review or talk about them. And because youre all about the accurate sculpt and natural articulation. And very few transformers will never have and accurate sculpt and articulate like they do on the show. (Plus you tend to like accuracy in scale it seems)
But yeah i love transformers and this figure is awesome

Very nice, but yea he's too thick for me. It would bother me too much too see that 3/4 angle in robot mode.
He is so freaking cool

That's hardly worth considering. It's just a hinge which makes him look broken in half. It's not functional
I just wish his weapon storage has a better connection...

I don't care, Its still better than leaving the weapons on the side when he's not holding them. Also he needs them for his Alt Mode anyway.
