Menace won't overthrow Talon as the best coaster at Dorney but it will be in the top three pushing down Hydra to number 4 and Possessed to 5. ( 1.Talon 2.Steel Force 3. Menace)
Never been to Dorney or rode Iron Menace yet but good video here. I have rode DR. D at Fiesta and the Dives at the Busch Gardens park. This was a smart edition for this park. Its also a tried and true model for a park that has not gotten a new ride since what 2005? Also it makes it less likely that Hershey or Great Adventure get a dive. As Six Flags New England is my home park, this is my choice for a new ride if they dont get a launch (which the park does really need)
This is intense and fun coaster ....however I miss the STINGER coaster that was here before this coaster in this spot. However you will love the ride !!❤
Can’t wait to go to dorney this season to ride this, it’s been years for me! Glad the park finally got something. Only complaint so far is the length just wish it had 1 or 2 more elements!
Another thought: Dorney still needs a "Wow" factor /Headliner coaster. A multi launch back where Dinosaurs Alive may be what they need. Every coaster there (I've been going to Dorney since 2016) is a great SUPPORTING coaster but not a main attraction.
This is just a guess as I haven't been there yet, but if I had to guess, it would probably be third or fourth. I might like it more than Steel Force, but I don't know about Talon or Hydra: The Revenge.
You can see the train shaking and bouncing qll over the place on the zero g roll in some empty train offride footage. Something about the new train design is off but i definitely appreciate a ride with some bite to it and strong positive gs. B and m has been so cautious lately and as concerning as this anomaly is, i agree that itll make for a more exciting ride
emperor (6 seater) is smooth. Iron Menace and Dr. Diabolical (7 seaters) shake a bit. maybe the 7 seaters are pushing the limit a bit on the smaller track
But for the seat selection part that I’m not sure if the grouper is going to be friendly with row request or not because I’ve heard this has assigned seating due to its newness and popularity once it opens to all guests
On media day we could pretty much sit wherever we wanted to, but they will likely use assigned seating in the future. I’d imagine if you request a row, they may honor your request

A little off topic but do you know if they relocated the octopus/monster ride that was right near there or did they get rid of it ? Last time I was there it looked like they were taking it down, It's one of my kids favorite so I'm hoping it sticks around.
Wow the inclined loop from the drive into the parking lot is beyond beautiful

I love B&Ms, but for a brand new coaster and huge train this thing is uncharacteristically rough. Rode it two days ago.

That’s very possible. I haven’t ridden Dr. Diabolical yet so I can’t speak on that one, but Emperor is extremely smooth
