I’m not sure if you remember but we chatted before about your time in Brazil. So actually I’m going there in February and I want to see what it’s like. I really admire that you take matters into your own hands for your career. I am majoring in communications but honestly I’m not sure what I want to do with that. I don’t know many careers that pay well with that job. However, I DO know that I want to have the ability to live in the US and spend a lot of time in Latin America as well. You mentioned how you are specialized in real estate, and at the time it just seems so impossible for me to get into real estate or even start a business. But I’m at a point now where I really want to make my dream happen. How do you live the life you have? You seem to experience so many different cultures. Do you offer coaching? I just would love to chat with you and see what you do, you’re so inspiring
Hey. Yes I offer coaching. You can book time using the calendly link in my profile. I don't think communication majors offer any clear career path. I usually advise people to study something that literally equals a job upon graduation. If you want to earn in usd but spend time or live in Latin America. Perhaps you can focus on digital marketing and mass communications. Most providers in the USA(and the world) suck and if you can manage successful campaign for clients you can earn anywhere. Also you can problem land a job in the USA that will allow remote work and just pick up and go. Even if making $15/hour life would be good in all of South America.

To be honest real estate does interest me, I just don’t have the money to get started with it. I don’t know a lot about it either, but the idea of doing real estate is very interesting. Digital marketing, that’s a good degree option.. unfortunately I’m not sure if I have time to switch now : (

The good thing is, the degree is online through one of the state universities but it doesn’t show on my resume as an online degree, it shows up as a regular degree from one of the CSUs with the same curriculum. But while doing it online, I’ll have time to explore other options. I was thinking about starting a travel blog. But idk, just stressed these days with what path to do

Yes it's still relevant, I have my investors visa, but now there the nomad visa which is even simpler. What are you looking to do relocate permanently, start a business or long term travel?

SHORT ANSWER- Not to buy real estate, but to enter the country. LONG ANSWER - get the jab and life will be alot simpler...you'll never have to ask that question again. My boy was protesting it finally forced into it at work. 3 weeks later got covid and felt relieved. I'm sure you know people who have died or were hospitalized by the disease and no one I know to date has had more than 1 day of feeling crappy with the vaccine. Jab Jab right to the body 😀
Hi, that has to be invested in Colombia with the objective being to employee Colombians. It's not about moving money there then employing yourself. They want you to start actual companies.
My lawyer sucks I wouldn't recommend him. I'm looking for another better option. The fees were sub $2500. But you'll have to invest a total of about 30k if getting a M visa, if you want immediate residency it's about 150k in a real estate purchase. Hi, are these investment visas still available? I had heard that the Colombian government was considering eliminating some of these visas. Both investment visa options are attractive to me as I am currently in Medellin with my wife and kids on a visitor visa.
