Just a few updates on wear time! I’ll share more in a week or two:
-The foundation wore very well, which surprised me! I didn’t even end up blotting my face throughout the day even though I was playing outside in the hot weather with my toddler. It did end up breaking up on my chin by the time I went to wash my face but it looked pretty good everywhere else, even after 10+ hours. I still need to test it with a matte primer so I will keep you posted on how it wears that way too.
-The blush and bronzer lasted really well throughout the day with minimal fading. I don’t think the camera fully picked up how smooth they look and apply to the skin. They just blend out SO easily.
-My eyeshadow didn’t up creasing at all so I’m definitely a fan of the eyeshadow primer. It has a creamy texture that doesn’t fully dry down so I feel like it helps to lock things into place well.
-The plumping gloss is great- it really does feel like a high end formula. It lasted until I ate lunch, which is to be expected. However, without eating, I feel like it stays in place well because it has a slightly tacky texture. I definitely find it to be plumping and the tingle isn’t painful but it is noticeable!
Did You finally mix the 2 shades 15 and 21 i'm a little confused. I'm having a hard time deciding what shade to buy. Hello from Puerto Rico.

That elf moisturizer looks like a dupe for the neutrogena gel moisturizer that has gotten so expensive that I stopped using it. I'm so excited to try it!!!

neutrogena has gotten absolutely outrageous with their pricing. they need to remember they’re drugstore 😭
CVS and Walgreens have a store brand of the neutrogena I use that, I have been using the elf and I like it more than neutrogena.
I want to try the gel moisturizer but it has fragrance on it and I can’t use fragrance on my face. So upset about it.
The Walmart dupe of the Neutrogena is good and cheaper, can’t wait to try the e.l.f.

As an older woman..i pat a little Elf Primer under my eyes, let it dry, and it definitely decreases any lines, and foundation sinking into fine lines.

It really is such a gorgeous formula! I’ve been really impressed it.
I’ve used the setting spray, and I have very dry skin, so for me I love it. It keeps my makeup from soaking in, and it makes my face look not quite so dry during the day. I’ve got the foundation on order and I’m waiting for it to get here. Based on your video, I’m absolute going to try out the bronzer, that looked pretty. I’ve been loving the Nyx, so I’m going to see how that works out. Love your videos, keep it up.

ELF recently came out with crème eyeshadows in the little pot. I bought 2. They’re so amazing I went back and purchased all of the colors! They’re amazing. No budge. Easy to work with. Great as primers before you put a shimmer on. Just awesome!
Also, their matte eyeshadow sticks work great as liners, too!
ELFS Liquid Shadow in Disco is the perfect opalescent shade to go over any look! It’s awesome 💜

Hi Andrea- I love your green top. Juicy Jas (Jasmine) mixed the elf bronzing drops with her moisturizer and it looked so nice. I think Elf, Essence, Catrice, LA girl, Milani have really stepped up their game lately.

I was glad to see the new Elf foundation. Thank you for demonstrating it and giving your thoughts, Andréa. Elf is really knocking it out of the park for so many of their products. Yes, the foundation looks great on your skin. I am a fan of their mascara. I had never used a tubing mascara until I got this one and love it. It really made a difference on your lashes. I have several of the Elf four pan eyeshadows and it was good to be reminded of how good they work. I am fairly new to the Elf line and never heard of their Jelly Pop products. Good to hear your thoughts on them.

Thank you for answering one of my questions in this video: if I want a no-foundation look I can do the moisturizer plus bronzing drops! I just can’t wear foundation (liquid or powder) when it’s sweaty weather, it won’t stay on for 30 minutes.
Yes! The bronzing drops really are gorgeous when mixed with moisturizer! If you want them to show up a little bit better, you can apply them right after your moisturizer and you will get more pigment!

@@AndreaMatillano I got the pink me girl shade and it’s really pretty. Now I need to try another shade! I also love that it’s a mineral sunscreen. Chemical lip ones can sometimes have a funky after taste.
Was really upset today my Walmart showed they had the new elf foundation but at 2:00 they still had not put it out really thought I could grab it today can be frustrating really want to see the shades as the one that elf matched me to online is not a match it looks orange match me warm and medium I am cool and light oh well first world problems huh lol. Thank you SO much for your review. I ordered two color's of new foundation (arriving Friday). I already have the Jelly Pop primer (not sure if I love it). I have tried to like Camo concealer. I can't get the right color. Use IT cosmetics concealer. Just tried Camo color corrector and putty color correcting eye brightener. Both are as good as high end. I also have every color of Elf luminous/putty blush and monocromatic stick blush. Love them. Wondering if you prefer Elf putty primer in liquid or pot? I have three high end foundation's that are too heavy for summer.
I feel like I have a hard time finding the right shade in their complexion products! They always end up running yellow on me but I do love the formulas. I would say I prefer the liquid only because it is easier to work into the skin! I like the putty primer in the pot, but it takes a little bit of extra effort to blend it in whereas the liquid just sinks in quickly! I feel like the liquid version is slightly more mattifying too!
The number 7 powder is phenomenal it's also drugstore. the Maybelline define lash in a lime green tube is the best mascara in my opinion on the market. I have been using it since the late 80s very early 90s it gives such lengths and fullness and it never clumps. Please please give it a try!!! I have very short lashes and they're not really full either and it makes my eyelashes look like I'm wearing false eyelashes. It's easy to take off it does not smear fourth lake and I don't believe it's waterproof. I sweat a lot during the summer only on my face. I always look like I either just sprained my face with water or got out of a swimming pool and I have never had a problem with it.
I totally get you with having more of a challenge when applying your makeup when filming. My makeup is so easy to put on but when I am going somewhere special, I find that it takes longer and I need to be fixing things! Ugh 😬😂

When I was taught makeup application in the early ’70’s, we were told to apply all cream products, powder them to set, then go over them with a matching powder product.
Made a huge order from e.l.f a couple of days ago, can't wait for it to come in. Will be my first time using cream blushes and bronzers, eekksss. 😂
Ahhh they can be intimidating, but I do think elf’s formula is a little bit easier to use so I hope you love them! 🙌
Wow! I don’t think I’ve heard anyone say the ELF grip primer didn’t make their make up last. I’m trying not to buy extra setting sprays but now I want to try it! 😅
12:50 this is exactly how I “use” tik tok, quick reviews to see if I want to watch more in depth reviews on certain products.
I do have a few TH-camr’s that I watch all their videos and would watch them counting beans or watching paint dry if they posted lol (Andrea being one of them)
I’m definitely going to try the eye primer next. I use their current one but there isn’t much in the tube. I’ve tried many primers and haven’t found one I love yet.
The plumping lipglosses are some of my favorites for a more pigmented gloss. I love Praline and Mocha Twist.
I was really impressed by it! I was even outside playing with my toddler at the park in the warm weather my eyeshadow didn’t move by the end of the day. 🙌 I was really impressed by the plumping gloss formula. I don’t know why I hadn’t tried it in the years, but the formula really is gorgeous. 😍

I wish they brought back the original shades and then just added a few new ones!
My elf order is en route and I can't wait for it to get here! The foundation looks beautiful on your skin & it sounds right up my alley. I've also been super excited about the power grip setting spray & was surprised to hear your description--I also thought it would be sticky and long-wearing. I have dry skin, though, so maybe it will work better for me? We'll see. I skipped the primer infused blush because they're all matte & I just almost never wear matte products. I want some new elf eyeshadows--the quads were great and I'd love that formula in bigger palettes!

Just buy a whole bunch of the Jelly Pop collection and save it! I really like the new Elf foundation. I have combo to oily skin, and it works well on my skin. I broke down and finally tried the Tatcha Silk Canvas primer. It's the best primer I've ever used. Makes all my makeup last longer.
Wowowow if the elf bronzer is better than the nyx one then it must be really good!

I was so exciting about the watermelon jelly pop lip oil and absolutely couldn't stand the smell of it. I dont know if i received a bad one or what, but mine smelled of a strong chemical, but nothing like watermelon 😢 i prefer fruity over minty. I guess i will have to break down and try one of the ogs. Ty for the video! 😊

Does the new satin foundation have a scent to it? When I tried the Flawless Finish, I really didn’t like the scent of it and it deterred me from ever using it
The Flawless Finish does have a very distinct fragrance! 😭 Thankfully, I don’t notice a scent at all with the new one!
ELF is killing it! I got the Jelly Pop lip oil. I like it, but I am not a fan of the scent... I feel like it's SO synthetic that I don't get a "watermelon" vibe

I DROPPED MY RARE BEAUTY HIGHLIGHTER TOO. I was like “handle this with the absolute most care”. And then I threw it across the floor by accident since I was rushing 😅 I saved a good amount of it. But I think it’s cursed
15:07 loll my skin is sooo different to most. I put flawless filter on and glowy foundations and no powder at all just cream products and at the end of the day except the tip of my nose, everything looks matte and dry😢

I love ELF plumping gloss! And other elf makeup. Don't know if I'm going to get this new foundation. I have way too many foundations to use up. The new settings spray is a no. For being in my 50's i have very oily skin. So no thanks. Lash xtender mascara is my #1 at the time. I have it in black and brown. Halo glow line in another one of my favorites!

I am curious if brands, ELF in particular, are launching so much/so quickly due to the regulations that are changing on July 1 because of the MoCRA law....
Oh that’s an interesting thought! I was just reading about it after seeing your comment because I hadn’t heard that before but I could definitely see that being the case.
@AndreaMatillano It sure makes it sound like production will slow down a lot. *Small businesses are excluded.
But even if a company wants to reformulate a product, every single thing has to be resubmitted, including the 3 month stability tests.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing. But I don't think we'll see mega product launches like we do now. But I could be wrong 🤷♀️

I wish I got on with elf, majority of products I've tried break me out. Including the new foundation and their gripping primer 😭 Concealer makes my eyes stream and their lip oils make my lips chapped. No other brand does that to me, it's odd!
Oh no! 😭 It’s the worst when complexion products cause breakouts. I’ve had that happen with a few things and it’s always so frustrating.
@@AndreaMatillanoalways takes ages to clear 💔 Gutted because their products are so reasonably priced and perform well!
First, I love you and you are very good at what you do for a living. Second, ELF didn't reformulate any of those products, except the foundation. They decreased the amount of product and decreased the price by one of two dollars because they started to lose people to Milani and Wet N Wild. I have that exact bronzer and that exact blush. So there is NO REASON to buy those two things from ELF. Use up what you already have from ~18 months ago. ELF shouldn't cost $10 or $15, and it took them awhile to see we will move on. ELF is supposed to be fun and not cost an arm and a leg.
Based on the website, the new foundation actually comes with 1 oz vs the old foundation which comes with .68 oz so you actually get more! It is $2 more expensive but personally I do find the formula to be better and with the added amount of product, I think the price increase is justified. I agree that if someone has the blushes, bronzers, or gloss already that there’s no need to run out and buy a new one though! I’m always an advocate for using what you have but I know there was only one shade of the bronzer available for probably a year or even two so it’s great to see an expanded shade range! 🙌
Great Video Andrea! I LOVE ELF products, BUT unfortunately the Jelly Pop Lip Oil in Watermelon will be returned. Maybe I got a dud, but the lip oil has a horrible smell that made me sick 🙁…It has a combination of Watermelon and a burnt plastic smell. I LOVED he way the oil feels and looks on my lips but the smell is not tolerable 🙁. I hope nobody else has has that experience. Again, I probably got a bad one.

I really like the way this goes on and the finish but I think the missed the mark of the undertones. So much warmth and yellow and the cool.ones have so much peach. Hard to find a shade😢

I love lip oils and I like mint, but I can't stand the mint they used in the ELF lip oils. Which is such a shame to bc i love everything else, but I can't get past the smell/taste. So unfortunately mine just sits on my dresser... mocking me 😅
