My sister and her mother came to visit us. So we took some time and went sightseeing with them. In this video we went to the Boti Falls where we had an amazing afternoon.

Nice, the waterfalls was well worth hiking for.
Visit Kwahu about two hours from Accra . Beautiful cool weather on the mountain. You will see big buildings my people like big homes
Exactly. People seem to think ghana is just Accra but there are other nice places and very clean too and way cheaper lol
Except a place like Aburi is not cheap though. It's gotten very expensive over time due to it proximity to Accra and the natural beauty of the town. I'm from that area and went to secondary school there.

Such a wonderful place to hike - I’ve added it to my list of places to visit ✨
Nostalgia, backed in the day we used to hike this steep hill filled with logs just to see the falls. We piggybacked the weak and weary, it was so steep, unstable and the huge logs made it impossible to pass in certain areas without proper shoes and back then the water would splash on us like rain several meters before the got to the falls. There were people who'd help on the way up for a small fee.

If you stay over night there, you will enjoy a very relaxing Good Night's Sleep. It's a healthy atmosphere, no pollution, surrounded by nature.

Visit Amedzofe in the Volta region. Beautiful mountains and the weather is like winter. You will love the beautiful seight seeing on your journey
Try to visit Kwahu mountain areas like Abetifi and Mpraeso

My sister you haven't seen anything yet, if you go to Kwahu Area of the Afram Plain it is a whole new world. The topological view of mountains plus the layout of the Lake in Afram Plain (which is part of Lake Volta) is awesome. Kwahu AREA has more than 50 tourist sites but people don't know them. There is one spiritual and historic stone cave over there. Research by three different historians from Europe and America have found remains in the cave showing that people have lived in the cave over 12,000 years ago. You need a light to go into cave. People go into cave for spiritual power in the olden days and it is the same today. Kwahu Area has the best weather in Ghana. The weather can go as low as 8-9 Degrees Celsius. Climb the mountains to Kwahu and you will not believe what you will see. Please, I wish you visit that area and cave site.

Try and make it to Kwahu, a beautiful city located on the Odweanoma mountain which has so many nice places you can visit.Not forgetting conducive weather and the green vegetation.

Ghana is such a beautiful country! I can not wait to see it for myself. I am looking forward to visiting Abrui (sp) and the Volta region. I was wondering why you all choose to stay in Accra. It's too much like New York City, for me, which is where I'm trying to get away from. 😂
Please the correct spelling is Aburi there is nothing like a short pronunciation
I felt the same, now that i have seen a bit outside of Accra. Maybe when we see more places we will move to a different city. Although i think the schools in Accra are really good Xx

The local authority need to do more to the road, to attract tourists, both local and international. This could be a steady stream of small income for them, as well as the community whom the tourists would patronise.
