Everytime i see a tyler perry movie available on netflix i watch it with my wife with the lowest expectations and man, everytime he just underdevelops even more. I agree with you, this had so much potential and after the first hour i guess it was ok but those 30 last minutes just goes off the rails, kelly rowlands character makes no sense on why she even gets entangled with the client and most of all that reveal of the girlfreind being alive it reminded me of the ludacris trial of "a fall from grace". good review.

The film put me to sleep. But, I finally finished the film. The artist's lines had me rolling my eyes. The characters... especially Mea were unbelievable.
...speaking of motives, did they explain why the artist was so nonchalant despite facing a murder charge? I mean did he not see the fallout Jonathan Majors suffered for a much lesser charge?
The writing was over-the-top unrealistic. A Black woman standing helpless to more than two public insults? The idea that someone on trial with an only objective to smash? His bossy demeanor towards Mea and yelling like he’s known her for years? Do attorneys use the street term “reppin”? I really loved that steamy paint sex scene!
That show is about male strippers this film has Kelly Rowland and Shannon Thornton. He could have given us something to look at too. Directors should change it up based on the project.
I agree totally @@TyHarrellShow but this is a Director whose idea of female empowerment is riding a dirty d!ck that is emotionally detached.. why exploit the talent any further?
For me , it was the average TP movie. I wanted the plot to be a little better but I gave it a 5/10. The ending sucked though. Kelly looked beautiful and I definitely want her to act more for sure

The Veronica cameo was pretty good 👍🏾 she acted just like her character on THATHN

...i was hoping to hear that the movie was an edge of your seat thriller like "Body of Evidence" or "Never Talk To Strangers" - which I liked.
One thing about the movie is that I didn’t expect the plot twist.
Bobby’s brother 👨🏾 from another mother just kept tryna get some of that brownie 😅 and he got it.
Cancer or not I don’t think some people in real life would take that mess from the mother in-law.

Kelly Rowland had to be respected thats why her body couldn't be seen to much,
