If he knew she slept with Zyair wouldn't the husband have pulled the picture of the other woman off by now. 😂 Mea was brilliantly stupid. And if Mea and Charlize were taking boxing classes, why couldn't they fight.
Another confusing issue, why did the brother in law m*rder his wife at the end. If you are angry about her affair wouldn't the story have made more sense to m*rder her at the start and frame zyair for that real incident.

It just didn't make sense. If it was all a set up, there would have to be so many people and departments involved to fake that kind of evidence. I don't think the family had that kind of power. And to say that the blood seeped through to the apartment below. Do they know how much blood would be needed for something like that to happen, especially in that loft that looked as if it had concrete floors. We're not talking about some little apartment complex with cheap ceilings and paper walls. Also, if they paid Hedi to play dead, wouldn't she have enough money to not have to work as a maid, and it was just too convenient that she would go to DR instead of Mexico where she's from or even Italy where she was working when they met. Also, can you get the same cell number in a foreign country or did she know her friend's number by heart? I would think she would've had to wait until she was back in the States but i could be wrong. She only ever mentions the damning evidence against him, but not info on how she plans to defend him/dispute that evidence. How did they get that much blood from the fake victim girl? Remember, she said prosecutors found so much of her blood in his apartment that it leaked down to his neighbor’s house and the blood matched her DNA…? Why didn’t we see any pushback from the family when Mia decides to take on the case? How did the family ever find out she cheated? Why did they try to make it seem like the artist was crazy when she sat down and got info from the gallery owner? All we found out from that interaction was that he was a hoebag and used the same game on the women he creeps with. How long was the brother planning on running for mayor because the movie suggests the mama has had cancer for a while. Why was her husband cutting her expensive checks…where was the money going…? Again, how long have they been in on this cancer lie? I could go on…the amount of plot holes in this movie are just stupid.

If there was a highly publicized court case that brought so much paparazzi, then the police would have also been called to the scene. In all police dramas, detectives, photographers, forensic specialists come out to build the case. Blood and specimen are tested at labs and verified by specialists. How did so much blood soak through the floor and into neighbors house? Where did they get brain matter with her DNA? How in the world could they have faked that without involving so many critical people and then think to use it as a landmark case and keep it a secret at the same time? You can get one person to lie for you-but ten? How was killing her at their house and killing his wife with their kids in the house a great move for his getting elected for mayor? Even if it was self defense it would be too suspicious and would contaminate his run for mayor. The logic was an absolute NO!!!!!

I watched it last night & had several takes on the film that in my opinion is worst than a tubi movie: 1.) The 2 main characters are terrible actors. 2.) There was basically no plot 3.) The sex scene is absolutely terrible [ who fantasizes about having sex in paint] 4.) So then after a terribly acted movie the finale is so out there that it's laughable [ this woman who weighs 100 lbs soaking wet beats the hell out of 2 men & leaves without a scratch]

Kelly's character seems too weak to be the best defense attorney in town. She's completely unprofessional and silly to have an affair with a client accused of murder. She doesn't even have the proof that he didn't do it and she dropping her drawers for him....nonsense. She's also too soft spoken. Her broke husband comes into the kitchen, picks up her files and tells her what cases she's not going to take and I like that she called him out for not paying bills, but her tone was too soft. I'm like girl, put some base in your voice and speak with authority. It's also crazy that she's paying the medical bills for a mother-in-law who's so disrespectful, especially when that mother-in-law has a lawyer son. She needed to stand up for herself more. We're supposed to believe that she's the best defense attorney, but she's too weak to set strict boundaries with her clients, too weak to stand up to her in-laws, too weak to walk away from a bad relationship where she's so suspicious that she needs a private investigator, too naive to see that artist guy is a player and silly enough to sleep with him after seeing this man with another woman.

Some people say I’m too generous with my score but imma explain. The movie as a whole is a 4/10 for me but I bumped it up only because of the Veronica cameo and the plot twist which ends up making it a 8/10. Besides those two things the movie is a 4-6 at best in my opinion.

Another reason they framed him was because the older brother wanted to be mayor and planned to use Zayair as the poster boy for his campaign.

I aint even watch the movie because, well, it’s a Tyler Perry jawn…..gotdammit. I heard a bit of what goes down-so unsurprising-Kelly must be down bad.
I watched it last night & had several takes on the film that in my opinion is worst than a tubi movie:
1.) The 2 main characters are terrible actors.
2.) There was basically no plot
3.) The sex scene is absolutely terrible [ who fantasizes about having sex in paint]
4.) So then after a terribly acted movie the finale is so out there that it's laughable [ this woman who weighs 100 lbs soaking wet beats the hell out of 2 men & leaves without a scratch]
There's an old episode of Girlfriends, where Toni and her true love artist talk about this very thing ( sex paint scene) I'm convinced TP stole that idea for this movie, like he steals everything else.

This movie was horrible but Tyler Perry does have some good movies diary of a black woman ,why did I get married (the first one )meet the browns , acrimony (which is my favorite) and the family that preys .I love the oval and all the queens man even though both shows are over the top . But it is still top ten on Netflix 😮
Kelly's character seems too weak to be the best defense attorney in town. She's completely unprofessional and silly to have an affair with a client accused of murder. She doesn't even have the proof that he didn't do it and she dropping her drawers for him....nonsense. She's also too soft spoken. Her broke husband comes into the kitchen, picks up her files and tells her what cases she's not going to take and I like that she called him out for not paying bills, but her tone was too soft. I'm like girl, put some base in your voice and speak with authority. It's also crazy that she's paying the medical bills for a mother-in-law who's so disrespectful, especially when that mother-in-law has a lawyer son. She needed to stand up for herself more. We're supposed to believe that she's the best defense attorney, but she's too weak to set strict boundaries with her clients, too weak to stand up to her in-laws, too weak to walk away from a bad relationship where she's so suspicious that she needs a private investigator, too naive to see that artist guy is a player and silly enough to sleep with him after seeing this man with another woman.

The problem with Tyler Perry is not that he’s the only person that puts out bad movies. He’s just the loudest of them all who just doesn’t seem to understand how terrible his movies actually are. I’m convinced all of his movies in the past that did well was because someone else definitely had to be in the room writing because there is no way that after years of work it just gets worse and worse.

Kelly Rowland is in this film in order to draw in this movies primary demographic Destiny's Child fans & 65 year old women that worship at the church of MADEA 👩🏾🦳 who are the only people that enjoyed this film......The rest of us know this was a terrible movie.

Some people say I’m too generous with my score but imma explain. The movie as a whole is a 4/10 for me but I bumped it up only because of the Veronica cameo and the plot twist which ends up making it a 8/10. Besides those two things the movie is a 4-6 at best in my opinion.

Tyler Perry failed that part of the class of show vs telling. I saw one clip of the movie and I was like I know they aren’t using Dollar Tree paint and paint brushes. I am painter I picked this up.
When the brush hit the canvas, I was like why did he get such a giant glob? But that may have been more on the paint than the actors lol 😂
