Congrats! I always remember that first bike feel! I also like how you got the bike comfortable by lowering it first. To me that it very important to be comfortable at stops and standing still.

I have a Triumph Street Twin, that my daughter is continuing to learn on. She got her mc endorsement several months ago, doesn't have a bike of her own yet, so I'm letting her ride my Street Twin. Great beginner bike, like your Trident, not imposing, easy to handle, low seat height, etc. I've been riding since the early 80's, and these Triumphs have enough character and fun factor that my Street Twin keeps my smiling as well. Congrats on your new bike!

Hey Scott, love your videos. As a newly A licensed rider in europe, with no prior experience, I also picked the trident for my first bike, taking delivery next week. I hope I will like owning it and your overall attitude and tone in your channel helped me scare away the whole mentality of "having to prove" something to others by getting X or Y bike. Keep up the excellent job and happy rides with the family, next year I hope to do the same with my soon-to-be fiancé when she gets her license next year. Cheers!

My lady loves her brand new Trident and rides it to work more often than I ride my bike. It doesn't like going into first either. I rock the bike to get it in gear sometimes. As I get to maneuver the Trident around the driveway as well. When I ride it on the road it does handle very well and has some get up go.
