Actually that's a genuinely good question! You wouldn't so much half it, it will be impacted it due to having to display over what is now effectively 2 displays but it shouldn't half it by any means, you may lose a few frames. Also it would depend on what you were using the second half of the screen to display I guess too.
I have one of these big screens by another company, but when you are surfing the internet and you want the website to cover the whole entire length of the screen, then I found out on mine if I just switch the resolution to 1920 x 1080 then the side black bars disapear atleast for me. Also there is a setting in the diplay setting area to stretch it for ultrawide screens.
I've been wanting to go super ultrawide, but yea it's even less supporter than normal ultrawides and the fisheye effect is really anoying, especially when games don't have FOV adjustment support or games that crop it horizontally and then stretch. I have games that do support it, but they are the minority as in I can count them on 1 hand, the rest barely support normal ultrawides. As such I'm probably still sticking with ultrawides instead of superwides.
It does, but it's a PIA to use. Also has PBP using the built-in KVM switch, but it's quite crap. You need a USB-C 3.2 gen2 cable (not mentioned in any documentation, anywhere so prepare for that add'l expense) to be used in DisplayPort-alt mode (it'll do that automatically) but the "using two systems side by side" like they proclaim on their website is rubbish. It's just cheap trash, not intuitive to use, and overall, quite disappointing on such an amazing monitor. Debating a return now simply because of these "features" (now, all-but useless).
that monster is W I D E E E E E E...
Immersion overlord!!! I love this monitor. Cant wait till i get mine

what a piece of kit wow it's a beast
I think you have it backwards, 1800R is less curved than 1500R and much less than 1000R.
Yeap, the higher the number, the less aggresive the curve, this is the least aggresive curve.
my question is if i use the mode were i split the screen into to do i split the fps aswell?

@GadgetJoe say the half is google and the other half is a game?
