I love when animators do this kinda stuff like with 600 strikes I personally imagined it as odysseus's men as ghosts coming from the depths and attacking poseidon then I saw a animator did that exact thing

The lighting is everything not many pay attention to that element. She so damn pretty. The way she panicked when ody took the challenge without any hesitation then she realized he's here somewhere. Antinuous looks cool too.
Oh shit, so Odysseus was there to witness her issue the challenge, which to me is a good touch. Also, she saw him in the crowd and recognized him immediately, but he ran away and hid because he still needed the element of surprise on the suitors and can't have his presence revealed yet? That's fucking awesome! What about all the emotions she felt when she found that cloak? Or how he felt when he had to hide when all he'd want to do is be with her at that moment? And that's just the storytelling aspect of this animatic. Love the lighting, the expressions, the backgrounds, the character designs, just all of the above honestly. AND HOW WERE YOU THAT FAST AND THAT GOOD?
Yeah in the original story he was still disguised, but the only person who recognized him was his dog in the story and he won the challenge before killing all the suitors

Antinous looks-wow-not sure I’ll be able to handle hold them down lol. The shot of the axes was one of the smoothest animatic I’ve ever seen. Also her face when she thinks she spotted ody. Having her sense and glance Ody then chasing after him only to find his cloak?! Cruel and gorgeous genius!!! It gave her reassurance but also the ability to get her head back in the game! I'm obsessed!!!
Penelope is so beautiful. The introduction is so sad because it really shows the longing. She's dreaming of him like he's dreaming of her. Even though her dreams are relatively more positive and hopeful than his.
I LOVE how she spun around when she sang "And rule with me as his king." It's so beautifully animated I don't know how you do it. PS : The 12 axes popping up was like the cleanest animation EVER EDIT 1 : Can we just appreciate Antonius's design EDIT 2 : Also I LOVE how you interpreted the "shoot through twelve axes cleanly." I always just imagined them shooting through the handles like Merida did with the arrow shooting through the other arrow. Also I love Penelope's dress. HONESTLY, I JUST LOVE THE ENTIRE THING! IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL!!! ❤❤❤

The way the new parts of the animatic is woven in to the rest to fit the flow in a way I could not imagine, but the impact it has through storytelling impress me/very fun to try to analyse, and breathtakingly beutyfull! Like the first animatic was already amazing, so to see the way this one is diffrent but still just as true to the song
The first scene of her and Ody being lovely dovey only to wake up to him hot being there hurts damn so much. Penelope is so pretty, the lighting really highlights her perfectly. The backgrounds are cool as well :D ALSO THAT TWELVE AXEZ PART WAS INCREDIBLE OMG, THE TRANSITIONS AHH. ALSO I love how the arrows look like they're being shot at Penelope, considering her feelings and the suitor's feelings towards her (she'd rather die than marry any on them and the suitors only see her as a prize to be won). AND HER LIGHTING UP WHEN SHE SAW ODY AHHH. Also the gold lines on her back was gorgeous.

Your lighting is absolutely fantastic! The way the purple moonlight hit Penelope, and then it shifts to a warm afternoon glow? MAGNIFIQUE. Utterly striking and emotive. And how fast and fierce you show Penelope as? OOH. That's the Spartan that Odysseus fell in love with. Brilliant!

I love the detail of Penelope sitting behind the axes because then even if any of the suitors COULD string the bow and make a clean shot through the axes (very unlikely already because of the strength needed to not only string the bow but to draw it as well) they would be hitting her
