    this is like 90% of chess games where it goes evenly up and then sb makes a mistake

    At 7:21 Knight F6 doesn't seems that bad. Because if you can see after bishop takes Knight white can happily capture the bishop with the pawn at G5 and then it becomes treat for mate in one. And after black moves G7 pawn to G6, white rook can capture the black rook at D4. But if black plays D1 with the rook besides playing G7 then black is ok. I think White doesn't have to take the black rook after the bishop captures the Knight at F6 square.

    Teaches me to look twice and calculate to the end. I had rejected ..Qd5 because of Nf6+ Bxf6, gxf6 threatening mate and the R is hanging. Only when you said that Nf6+ doesn´t work I saw the continuation ..Qh1+ Ke2 (Qg1 hangs the R after QxQ) Qd1+ Ke3 Qd2 mate. Very nice and easy to miss ...

    Hello Mato, great video as always was wondering @6:46 the critical position of the game, does Rd1+ not work? seeing as the bishop is fine there at the moment in my vision we have Rd1+ Qxd1 Qxf4 hiting both the knight and the pesky pawn. If Kg2, let's say white declines we still have Rc2, only that we have the queen guarding the f6 square also :) thank you and keep up the good work

    • @apostolvictor1099
      @apostolvictor1099 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Apostol Victor and another interesting fact, @ 7:26 i think it's nice to point out white would be advised to capture the rook, because the capture of the bishop gxf6 looks tempting for some people, threatening mate in 1 ? although the Rd1+ leads to the end of the game fast :)

    • @tushar2195
      @tushar2195 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Apostol Victor after Rd1+ white responds with kg2 not Qxd1, and black's best move is Re1, Qf3 Bd6 and Nxf6. Not better than the other line, but black is still better.

    • @apostolvictor1099
      @apostolvictor1099 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Of course as stated in my message, just an idea :) i think i covered the variation until a point that is decent, it is still better for black and we do have f6 guarded also and it brings the pig closer and faster, that was the point of my comment.

    • @LightStar4413
      @LightStar4413 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Bouki Magash Qg6? Then Qxg6 and white as an rook up and this a quite easy way to end up the game. Actually the best move is to resign

    dear matho, at 7:25 you said Ne6 is blunder. but I found its a right move.. after Be6 instead taking took you can capture with e pawn after rook takes rook Qg7 is check mate.... can you please check it once again.....
    Anyway you are great mato.

      +rms2681 yes. In that case white king can escape but it will be a worst position. okay. thanks.

    • @Sandokiri

      +Pavan Kumar After gxf6, black doesn't take the rook. Instead, Qh1+ wins for black. Play either continues:
      1. Qg1 Rd1+ 2. Ke2 Qxg1. Black is now up a queen. I don't like this one compared to...
      1. Qg1 Qxg1+ 2. Kxg1 Rxf4. Black has a rook vs. nothing, which is even better than queen and rook vs. rook.
      1. Ke2 Qd1+ 2. Ke3 Qxg4 3. Rxg4 Rxg4. White is lost the same way.

    • @Mr100JUMPS
      @Mr100JUMPS 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Pavan Kumar Its still a blunder..right..Nf6(not Ne6) caused that sequence of Qh1+ Qd1+ Qxg4 Rxg4 happen..There is simply now way you would call that a "right move" unless you haven't seen the continuation mentioned in the comments below first yourself.Good try though :)
