- This Injured Baby Elephant Was Stranded in the Anuradhapura Area and a team of wildlife officers Captured the animal and transported to the animal hospital in Girithale. In this Hospital Such Animals are kept until they grow and release to the Jungle.
There’s nothing cuter than a baby elephant, except maybe about a dozen adult men rescuing, comforting, escorting, and giving aid to a baby elephant.

Viewers can watch here, a baby elephent which got stranded due to some reasons and
left alone as the rescue team is on the job to shift the animal to a place where the wild
baby elephant can be looked after well before its release to its natural habitat. The rescue
team along with the baby elephent had to trek a long distance through difficult terrain to
reach to a spot , before the elephant got loaded in to a waiting vehicle in order to ferry
the animal and they did it in style , with the combined efforts of all rescuers involved
in the act. Ultimately, they brought the animal to a safe spot to take care of it and in the
process, these people have carried out a fine job by giving more weightage to the task
they have undertaken. A task force , who deserve all kind of appreciations !

This has to be one of the saddest videos I ever seen. That poor baby, was in so much pain, every time they tried to put the medicine on the front part of the leg. I am so grateful that they were there to help, but I just hate that the Ele was injured and abandoned in the first place.

Using sedatives would have made the elephant unstable and they could not have WALKED him to the transport vehicle.

Maybe it's just you who are so damn stupid and arrogant to the point that you cannot realise that if these trained professionals didn't sedate this animal there's probably a legitimate reason behind this choice...
What is your expertise in wildlife rescue? How many years of field practice? Are you a trained vet?
These guys are highly trained professionals of international caliber with years of field work who know what they are doing. If they chose to not sedate this animal there's probably a good reason. Maybe young, stressed and most probably dehydrated elephant can't tolerate well sedation...anyway if they chose to not sedate it there's a good reason.
