    I learnt Danish with this approach. Quite simple if you learn the word strings thoroughly but I was slow and lazy so it took time. Still a lot of up front frustrations..You must listen all the time and use it. I cry looking back but I got there: fluency.

I was wondering, for the dai example, should we add the word 'zai' infront of 'dai' since we are talking about the situation where the necklace is worn(verb) the person. So, I mean, for the example given, would in be : wo *zai* dai zhe tiao xiang liang hen hao kan ma? Or did i misunderstand something. thank you !

    I found something in particular very interesting. There was a part in the video where you said that it's too new so you didn't know the Mandarin for it yet. I know Mandarin sometimes has words that sound similar to the English version but is never actually the same. So I was wondering, when there is a new English word for something, who is in charge of creating the Mandarin version of the word?

    Hi Katrina I've been wanting to ask this for so long, how come you always put two different kinds of chinese characters in your videos. The other one (the one below) look some kind of short cut from the standard one that are usually appears on top. May I know how do you call this. and do you have a video about this too? Im highly interested and looking forward for your reply. Thanks!

    • @smartmandarinkatrinalee
      @smartmandarinkatrinalee  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The ones on top are traditional Chinese characters (used in Taiwan), and the ones down below is simplified Chinese characters (used in China)

I hope you could do a lesson about this because I'm only familiar with the traditional ones and still trying to grasp the simplified. I hope you could do a video on any technique and ways how to learn simplified chinese characters quickly as I have noticed that most people are using this characters nowadays. Thanks a lot! Cheers!
