I just love these reactions. Both of you are so likeable and fun and these reactions are so enjoyable and fun and you feel like you’re hanging out with good, fun people. The energy is infectious. Something lacking in TH-cam channels I’ve found
Opus is still my favorite Ghost album. I remember when no one really knew who they were, and they were almost a taboo band, whispered about among those in the know. Would love to see you guys react to more of their cover songs! 😊
I love the fact that the first lyric in Ghost's first album is "Luuuucifeeer!" Very straight to the point. XD Another fun reaction, you guys! Also, is it bad that I lowkey want you guys to see just another sad zoomer's video "an unhelpful guide to ghost"? It sums up a fair amount of the band lore, but it does use Text-to-Speech audio so it might be hard to understand. It's a silly video, but Ghost is a silly band so it fits.
In concert they often pair this with Per Aspera Ad Inferi, so you don't usually hear that fade out lol - you should look up their live concert at Hellfest during the Papa III era
Lovely reaction as usual, just wanted to point something out that is super neat about this song, the lyrics "Sathanas, we are one, out of three, trinity" is a way to interpret why the band is called Ghost, one could say they are saying they are the (un)Holy Ghost of the satanic trinity, by singing about him.
@@FlameImperishable Oh yeah, they put BC there as Before Christ, but they only had to do it bc of some legal trouble with some other band named Ghost, cant remember the details, but it was never something they wanted or took seriously, so its just a throwaway temporary idea, and thankfully it got solved so they dont have to keep using BC
Opus Eponymous is latin for self titled work. The church you see on the cover is the cathedral of Linköping. Tobias hometown. Con Clavi Con Dio is latin for with nails with God. It's about the crucifixion of Jesus.
*You're right with the end of the song, it even works much better in concert since at the end of con clavi with dio starts Elizabeth... Check out the live show of ghost hellfest 2011 they play live with clavi with dio followed by Elizabeth*
I want to recomended live from Los Angeles( good audio)"deph of satans eyes",better then studio's version and "if you have ghost" live, acoustic version.Grettings for y'all.
He's also said in an interview he sees no issue with religion or people being religious, but he's against many aspects of organized religion for it being used as a tool of mass manipulation
To me it sounded like the rest of the song faded out faster than the choir. Please, react to their cover "Bible"! 😀It's awesome, no need to know the original (by a Swedish punk band)
*Actually Ghost BC does not exist, Ghost had to place the BC since only the word Ghost was already in use, years later he won the name in court and was removed all traces from the BC*
"Siamo con clavi. saimo con Dio Siamo con il nostro Dio scuro" Translates to: "We are with nails, we are with God. We are with our Dark God." I assume the "nails" refers to the nails used in Crucifixion? Also, "Opus Eponymous" means "Self-Titled Work."
Guys, am I the only one here who knows latin expressions in relation to the Catholic Church!? A "conclave", from the latin words "con clavi" (with keys) is the assembly of Cardinals, behind locked doors, to elect a new Pope! "Siamo con clavi" means "we are gathered in conclave". Nothing to do with "nails", not in this context at least. Just because *someone* put that shit through Google Translate and it came up as "nails" doesn't mean it's contextually correct.
I love ghost 💚 the first song that I've ever heard from them was a song that they covered called, if you have ghost's acoustic version! You should check it out if you have a chance 👍 love your channel by the way, awesome 😎🔥
This being their first released song really set the theme with the whole "LUCIFEEEEERRRR" opening lol
Duuuuude. This song is banging live with him swinging the smoking thurible and then goes directly into Per Aspera.
I would love to see you guys react to Ghosts cover of "Bible". It's such a gorgeous and fantastic song

Wow thank you so much! You are very encouraging! We really have a blast doing them! It is the highlight of our week!
My thoughts exactly.
Same!
Very first song on the very first album. Its was a hell of a way to start a career.

At least you know what you're in for. 🤣
There's also the mockumentary that they just released on April 1st which can act as a good introduction to the lore of Ghost
In concert they often pair this with Per Aspera Ad Inferi, so you don't usually hear that fade out lol - you should look up their live concert at Hellfest during the Papa III era

I wondered about the BC they had previously on their name. Before Christ, but what did Ghost attribute to BC?

Ahh. The one that started it alllll.🤘🏼 At least going by the album order. 😁

Or they’ve played Per Aspera Ad Inferi after it too, and it works just as well
I want to recomended live from Los Angeles( good audio)"deph of satans eyes",better then studio's version and "if you have ghost" live, acoustic version.Grettings for y'all.
True, he's not angry, it's more of a righteous indignation lol
He's also said in an interview he sees no issue with religion or people being religious, but he's against many aspects of organized religion for it being used as a tool of mass manipulation
Okay well I’m against that too!
Take a look at a live version :)
Lucifeeeeeeeeeer
We are heeere...
For your graaace...
That was one of the cleverest descriptions of opus eponymous

Siamo con clavi, siamo con dio, siamo con il nostro dio scuro.
Death Kneel 🤘🏻🔥🎸
You guys should react to the lore video just released on the ghost channel!
Tobias has had quite a bit of experience with albums and bands and just writing songs before Ghost started.

Siamo con il nostro Dio scuro"

As others have mentioned I would also recommend bible ..it's a nice song and not what u would expect..but it is a cover
Please react to La Mantra Morí, it’s a song by Ghost that the fans ignore but it is such a great piece of music. i recommend it
Yes! Totally forgot about that one
It's hypnotic~
Love ghost! Hail satan 🙌
But what does James do to get these guns?
It’s Jason, but honestly there’s no secret. I just like to workout! 😜
Jason, embarrassing your daughter is your duty as a father. My daughter is 23 and I still get a kick out of it.
...react to volixe - chupacabras
Great reactions…not my favorite Ghost song.
