It gives me "Deus In Absentia" vibes (last track on Meliora). This is a really good song.
*React to black veil brides - in the end*
i understand the rpg vibes
Originally done by Genesis, This is a great cover
It's an amazing album. Powerful vocals, incredible guitar work, what's not to like? Good for Stefan Weinerhall, this is a breath of fresh hair.
😎LOVEBITESRULES😎
😎LOVEBITESRULES😎
This is probably there best album and put them on the map
Read the lyrics!!!!!
I'm pretty sure the line "a part of me is me" is from Roky Erikson being schizophrenic and there were parts of himself that he didn't recognise.
Gotta love me some Stormlight in the morning with breakfast. You both did awesome!!!
Thanks dude! We can’t wait for the next book!
Am I the only that gets Santana's vibes from the guitar in this song?
It's mind blowing how it's about their kind of failed relationship but also about the harsh reality of today
This is the best song ever written in the history of music! No i'm exaggerating just a little bit I know but i really truly love the song. And when they played it in the cinema with all the photos and really showing what the song is about I thoughts of my family and cried. If i ever had to go down like it's described I will hold my wife and kids so strongly that the tie never could be broken for the minute it takes ❤️
I heard this song first, cool another good Ghost song. Then, I watched Rite Here Rite Now, goosebumps and teary eyed every time I listen to it.
I love rats! It’s my favourite song and my favourite music video. Copias stupid little dance is so dorky, rats is my favourite thing to watch!
They managed to throw in a bit of Alice Cooper in this one also (He's back the man behind the mask) with "Shoo, shoo" in the beginning.
Used to watch you guys a lot while you were discovering Ghost, haven't so much lately. Nothing you did, just happens. Missed you guys' silly banter :) Your mustache and muscles are as magnificent as ever Jason :)
I appreciate it! We’ve slowed down quite a bit but still do videos on occasion for fun. 🙂
THIS IS SUCH A COOL COVER I EVER WATCH OMG ILOVE YOU GUYS
Wow thank you so much!!!!! ❤️❤️
Its the other papa nihil's song in credits of the movie
The movie was awesome. The visuals that went along with the song at the end was very impactful. Love this song. 9:34
Your dog with her toy ❤
You’re right it is supposed to be a 60s song it is Papa Nihil ( a character in the Ghost lore ) in 1969 singing to Sister Imperator ( another character in the Ghost lore ) about an apology and singing about the future .
I was waiting for this reaction video. Thanks 🙂
Message from the clergy: let the dog in
"We are not a democracy"!? What in the world are you saying? USA is a democratic republic...
Seems like you have summoned the Ghost fans. I'm biased, but this song has Tobias' signature all over it, from a musical perspective. Not only does he like to make lyrics that can be read in different ways like "hold you for the minute" ... it takes [for the flames to devour us]. It took me a couple of listens to get it, so I thought that was clever. Also the whole thing that the song was meant to be written from a 1969 perspective and he adds years to it (1984/2024). Musically I'm always impressed how Tobias manages to switch genres so effortlessly, while managing to turn them into these chatchy bangers without fail. At this point I'm so way past "Ghost is my favorite satanic metal band." These days I just want to take a seat, lean back and consume Ghost for the show it is and let Tobias throw his articstic vision at me any way he wants.
Great comment . I’m bored with her GHoSt iS NOt mETal ANyMorE I mean stop ✋🏻 Tobias loves different genres that’s obvious and now he has the funds to do what he wants . His roots are always going to be metal and Ghosts earlier albums were awesome . But so are the rest . I’m with him All the way too .
If someone complains to me about ghost not being metal, I just smile and feel sorry for them. Ghost is so good it’s silly. Sit back and enjoy whatever the hell it is regardless of the label you want to put on it.
@@jebadiahfyefye8994 exactly!!
@@jebadiahfyefye8994 good idea 😀
Great summary! That's exactly the point. We shouldn't argue about what Ghost is exactly but just enjoy the work of art that's given to us
Movie. ! Movie ! Movie !
The song is supposed to be from 1969 when the original papa started ghost. Same era as kiss the goat and mary on a cross.
I didn't realize it until watching this video: I'm 100% convinced this song was created/inspired as a result of Ghost having Twin Temple open for them. The vibes are exactly the same. Anyway... My take on the "for the minute" ordeal. We're missing a couple keywords in that lyric: "...it takes." So I agree with Jennifer. It's not him abandoning anything. The premise is "if it ALL burns down" meaning there won't be anything left afterwards. There's also the secondary line of the "flames devour[ing] everything that we are." So whatever is coming is very final and complete in its end. And he'll be there for the minute it takes, which implies he'll be there for the entire duration, while suggesting whatever it is that's coming, it's going to be brief. That said: I've not seen the movie yet, but I'm aware of the context. However I don't think we need to be locked in to believing this is uniquely about nuclear war. Keeping in mind that this is written from the perspective of someone in 1969, he builds up to talking about the future (which is actually today) by talking about the 'insane' idea of fascism finally being gone. Of course with certain nazis still running around, that's far from the case. There are other ways in which this could "all burn down." And in that case, the minute might be a bit longer than intended, which could then extend the meaning of 'minute' to how it's used in the phrase, "Wow, I haven't seen you in a minute."
"Hold you for the minute. Hold you for the minute it takes." The minute it takes for it all to burn down.
Hits hard this bit .
🥺🥺
Tobias is a genius
That he is .
Well a republic is a form of democracy. We are a democratic Republic
this band used to be so good. not so much now
You need to see the movie.
I think this is my favourite song they’ve released. Their 60s era stuff is their best stuff for me. All depends what your taste is. I like metal but I’m more of a 60s 70s rock fan. Although I think Opus is their best album, the latest stuff is fucking fantastic too.
Personally they're still pretty great in my opinion
To me it's about we as people don't have to go down the path we are taking. Because we only have tnis one life. 2024 could be the last if we make the wrong choices.
Great theory 😊
This is extremely sad. Watch the end credits of the movie.
Great as always, you should do a reaction of the movie!
I would like to hear the dog's opinion of the song
She loves everything!
least jacked ghost fan haha! loved the movie and the new song is so pretty
It's prophecy from Papa Nihil from their 1969
Yeah, "I will hold you for a minute" implies the doomsday clock, the sudden end. The clock is even featured in the movie logotype
They are talking from 1969 so 15 years is 1984 then 55 years from 69 which is 2024
Its a song of hope for the future of the world. While also being a future prediction for the direction of the band itself.
I really hope you all made it to the movie!! This song is from Papa Nihil's perspective in 1969. And it's awesome!
Sadly I didn't get to see it and I'm totally bummed 😢because I had to have surgery on my shoulder but I love the new song it's brilliant, Tobias has done so much for me these past years and pulled me out of deep depression, his song writing and how he sings the lyric with his velvet tones and makes you feel it right there with him, he's simply amazing 🥰🤩😎 hope he releases the film on dvd soon! 🇸🇪 Tack Tobias jag älskar dig 🇸🇪
You all need to watch the movie Rite Here Rite Now
It's the third song recorded with Papa Nihil on vocals back in 1969. It's Papa:s I'm sorry for screwing up please forgive me to Sister Imperator. 15 years from now is 1984 and 55 years from now is 2024. It's also the end credit song for Rite Here Rite Now. And don't you worry Jason. Still got the biggest muscle in the reaction business 😉
2024 is 39 years after 1984. It's 1969 to 2024
@@Emeritus_XIII 15 years from now is 2039. This is relevant because 1939. The Wizard of Oz came out, and Europe was starting to get pretty crazy back when. So there's also that direct WWII aspect.
@ElyonDominus the song takes place in 1969. He says in 15 years from now, then says 1984. That's 15 years later. When he says 55 years from now, he's talking 55 years from 1969, which is 2024. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of your deduction in several ways.
@@Emeritus_XIII I know the lore. I am saying that it also fits with the general theme of Impera as well.
George Orwell
React to Ghost - Crucified, please
Not to disappoint you but this is a cover (the original being from Army of Lovers) I don’t know if you knew it, because I think too that the cover from Ghost in ‘’If you have ghost, you have everything’’ is better in pretty much every way, actually no I understand why you proposed it even if you knew it’s not originally from them, well yeah I love even more every covers from Ghost than there original, but there is 2 covers that really improved from their original in my opinions its ‘’phantom of the opera’’ and ‘’missionary man’’
@@olivierharvey2765 yes, i know, but is so much better than original, and my favorite cover from ghost. I love the Papa's vocals on this song.
He’s a beer guy😂
