Awesome. Been learning this by ear lately and this video just solidified what I had suspected especially regarding triads and pedaling. That said, this tune is an acoustic guitar masterpiece. I can't help to think of forested green hills (or mountains) and a rolling brook whenever I hear it. RIP Tony RIce
Happy New Year Steve! It's a Breedlove guitar. Regular DR Acoustic strings. I used to have a great nylon string classical guitar, but I wasn't using it and was in a hard place so I sold it. Wish I still had it!
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar i think its plugged in to a amp or heavily edited trying to get that full Tony Rice Sound. Would have been better with a dreadnought but you did a great job. Our guitars are a personal choice. I love it though.

Would love to see more about the song. This helped a lot for the first part of the song. Thanks much
Finally a decent and quick gateway to a great piece! Very well done.
Hey thanks Cooper!
Thanks for this wonderful lesson Screech.
I've been learning this by ear. This lesson really helps me understand what tools hes using. I absolutely adore that A7add13 voicing
That's my favorite too. Just learning this little bit of Tony Rice has really changed how I play.

Thank you for the video and tabs! I heard this song in a Bill Frisell show and had to try the chords for myself, it's such a beautiful composition.
Great lesson. Really like the takeaways and the triads are gorgeous.
Thanks.
Masterful teaching, rather than demonstrating. Three takeaways and I can't wait for the second half. Greetings from New Zealand, Jeff.
Thanks and greetings from Boston in the US! New Zealand, that's awesome, living the dream! 😃

Glad it helped.
Thanks Jeff, I’ve been exploring more flat picking and bluegrass lately. Lucky timing!
Nice! I actually haven't been performing on acoustic much lately, but I'm gettin' the itch to get back into it.
Thank you!
