Brought this last summer and the amount of times weve tryed to do it is crazy. The liquid doesnt turn into slush at all. Waste of money. Especially how much we payed

Man i love puppies, even slushy ones.
It doesn't work. You need a TON of ice. I mean a TON of ice. If you don't keep feeding in ice the entire time it never turns to a slushy. Plus a Slush Puppy is supposed to be small round balls of ice. This just makes a slushy mixture. But by the time you pour it into your cup it's half melted. It's a gimmick and a waste of money.

Can't put the lid on mine.... I'm confused. Put the lid on and turn it on for it to not turn and eventually pop the lid off so it can 🤔

If it needs ice to make ice.. Might as well just crush up the ice in a blender and add syrup.

@@cheekyape it’s basically freezing the liquid but because it mixes it while it’s freezing it doesn’t just turn into proper ice, it freezes to a stage before it turns into solid ice, and on top of that the ice and water in the inside bucket are just cold enough to not turn it into solid ice
@@christopherwirakit I know that which is why the add salt to make the liquid colder.. My point is you can get the same result with crushed ice and the syrup in a blender. Like a snow cone but instead of the syrup being drizzled on top it's mixed with the crushed ice. An effective machine for Slushy are the ones which make the liquid churn and freeze at the same time. Otherwise, what I've mentioned is a quicker way of doing it. Making this machine redundant tbh
@@cheekyape you do realize that ice can’t just mix with liquids right? For the ice to properly mix and taste like the syrup, the syrup has to be the ice. Also adding the syrup would make the ice too sweet and sugary, and before you say “just don’t add too much syrup” then there won’t be enough syrup to go Al throughout the ice. And slush puppies aren’t just ice, like I said it’s a little frozen but not completely ice, that’s what gives it that liquid texture
It's cool once you master how to make consistently good slushies the only problem with the unit is it's just too loud. We bought it for are toddles birthday parties but we've had to turn it off and abandon using it after 20-30 minutes because it's just too loud.

The salt doesn’t go on the drink, it just stops the ice melting so fast.
Salt actually speeds up the freezing process. Salt allows the mixture to go to just below freezing without going rock solid.

Theres not enough syrup in soda. Plus theres other additives in the soda that stop the slushy from becoming a slushy. Soda is already watered down to much. You need a concentrate.
NOW because that was BAD BUSINESS, I’m buying the competition for $70 dollars less and the SLUSHIE I had when I was at my GRANDPARENTS HOUSE on Curtis Street and ICEE Slushie was what I had when I was at my Grandmas house in ALTON PARK. So I’m GOOD either way it doesn’t matter to me. NO DISRESPECT INTENDED

Why salt ?
it makes it stay frozen for longer
It makes it freeze faster, keeps the ice inside from melting and makes the small bit of water inside colder which will turn the syrup and water to slush

yeh pause at 1.26 BULLSHIT i did just that perfect left it 25 top up ice as it goes its water nothings happening lol
