Absolutely great bags and wonderful video, thank you very much, Slade! In min. 0:14 you show the pattern for an awesome looking seatbag. I would totally love to get more info on that one! Thank you!!!
Great use of corrugated plastic to give structure. My Apidura bag's plastic skeleton bows out at the slightest hint of over packing. Great patience and attention to detail designing and using the sewing pattern, too.
Super rad! Love that you actually get straight to the guide. Your poor rear rack looks desperate to be used though haha rather than you making brand new bags for other parts of your bike.
@@asmrmartin456 I've been collecting great TH-cam video music for years. I'm not expecting much return from TH-cam views, I'd rather use commercial music and make better films. I'm thinking about making a video to share my taste.
Another cracking project! For your next iteration Marimekko did a collab with ikea a while back including their prints on the big shopping bags, would probably work as a fabric :)
looks great, i made my bags too, but where i live getting those nice techie fabrics is a nightmare, so i went with a cheap cordura 🙃. not too keen on the lacing attachment system, though. i use my bike for very different kinds of rides and i wanted the framebag to be easily removed, so i went with velcro tabs.
@@juanaq there was a version designed with velcro but I think the laces are pretty. Also the laces are woven with reflective thread so they shine a lot in headlights.
@SladeTakalaLamey definitely laces are more beautiful, almost like a sexy lingerie garment 😂(and that reflection on the night surely looks amazing), and if it suits the use it's a great system.
What was the plastic you used to give the bags structure. Doing similar myself and want something flexible (so wont crack) but not too flexible. Yours looks corrugated or something?
Anyway, the kislux fakes seem to be of equal or better quality than the real thing, and I can use the remaining money to buy groceries and pay some bills
Your projects are hugely inspirational, I love how your videos pack so much content and creativity without wasting the viewers time. Good job!
Glad you like them! I'm not a natural clown so messing around doesn't come naturally. Also, I'm in Finland where everything is straight to the point.
It's very nice of you to build a bike for your bag.
Keep it up!
@@fishsayswhatsgoingon the bag was lonely.
@SladeTakalaLamey I hope they would have many little bike's bags and bag's bikes🤗🤗🤗
Very nice. I liked the quick entry, no long introduction, just right to it.

I'll share it when it makes it off the page and into existence. It's designed around my rack, with poles slotting inside fabric tubes.
Thanks for the reply, Slade, I'm looking forwards to it :-)
Omg that was amazing the work that went into those bags
DIY Slade is back!
Nice to the rack is holding up!!
@@phil_d lost the cross braces but it turns out they served little purpose.
Awesome bag and video! Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful job! They seem to be quite aero too!

Hi Slade, thx for showing the procedure. Any issues with a breeze from the side so far?

Very nice. Huge fan of the design. However.. why DID you make them white? All I can see is molten snow in 3 months and mud hell.
Cross country patina lol

It was corrugated plastic from my local hardware store. I considered ribbing them with spines or packaging straps but the plastic won out in the end.
