I'm so happy to find another Australian who makes bags, i was beginning to think i was the only one. I also get a lot of things from reverse garbage.

Awesome video. I decided to check out a video of this bag for the main zipper installation. I am very happy I found yours. My zipper went in flawlessly. I happily finished the bag. Thanks for sharing!

This video sold me this pattern. ❤️ I will combine tips from you and the designer's video - make the zipper 2" longer at both ends, put on the pulls, stitch the ends of the tape, then open the zippers all the way. Half a zipper tape is much more flexible than a full tape. Love your tutorials and you make some beautiful bags! 👍

Making one of these right now and your tips have helped heaps...splitting the zip in 2 is genius ...I was concerned at how much more unwieldy the 2 exteriors are as one piece on the foam. Thank you...Lindy xo

Try placing you Wonder Clips with the clear side down towards the bed of your machine. That side is nice and smooth, while the colored side is not.

Lovely stitching. Awesome attention to detail. I'm surprised you didn't attach a nameplate, or maybe I missed it. Really like how you installed the zip. New subbie -- Hello from So California.

Do you think I'd be able to birth the bag through the pocket if I used waterproof canvas lining by chance?

    • @SeamsLegit

As long as you make the pocket big enough. I like to birth mine through the bottom of the bag as its much easier
