Awesome video. I decided to check out a video of this bag for the main zipper installation. I am very happy I found yours. My zipper went in flawlessly. I happily finished the bag. Thanks for sharing!
My very FAVORITE BAG DESIGN...LOVE the ease of opening...and having everything accessible. You are a very TALENTED YOUNG LADY INDEED. SINCERELY. ...Mrs.CARMEN BALKO...
This video sold me this pattern. ❤️ I will combine tips from you and the designer's video - make the zipper 2" longer at both ends, put on the pulls, stitch the ends of the tape, then open the zippers all the way. Half a zipper tape is much more flexible than a full tape. Love your tutorials and you make some beautiful bags! 👍
Making one of these right now and your tips have helped heaps...splitting the zip in 2 is genius ...I was concerned at how much more unwieldy the 2 exteriors are as one piece on the foam. Thank you...Lindy xo
I watched another video on making this bag. Since watching yours I completely understand how to make it. As a former teacher I appreciate your step by step explanations with your tutorial 😊
Lovely stitching. Awesome attention to detail. I'm surprised you didn't attach a nameplate, or maybe I missed it. Really like how you installed the zip. New subbie -- Hello from So California.
Lovely bag, wonderful tutorial. Would someone please tell me, are the zipper teeth to the cut side or are they to the inside. Dont want to make a mistake.
Brilliant video! Had just bought the pattern and watched a couple tutorials but yours is by far the best 🙂 Can I ask an unrelated question please? At the end of the video we can see 2 bags over you shoulder (which look identical) and I was wondering which pattern these are please? Thanks 🙂
I'm just learning--did you use 2 different interfacings on the larger pieces? You said birch and something else. Are they ironed on top of one another? Love your videos.
Love love the pussy cat fabric...even though I'm a dog person lol it took me a minute to realise the video was reversed ..for a sec I thought you were sewing from the other side of the machine...durrrrr. Lindy xo
I'm so happy to find another Australian who makes bags, i was beginning to think i was the only one. I also get a lot of things from reverse garbage.

SUCH an adorable pattern, i just bought it yesterday and can’t wait to try it!!!! Thank you for your excellent tutorial!!!
I love the way you put this together, especially the zip! :)
I like to chain stitch all the small jobs first too. Less pieces to clutter up my tiny workspace that has to be cleared every evening
Awesome video, awesome bagmaking tutorial, awesome Lady!!!!

Thank you so much for your video. I have just purchased the pattern and I am sure this is going to be so very helpful!!
Would love to get the skulls in purple
Try placing you Wonder Clips with the clear side down towards the bed of your machine. That side is nice and smooth, while the colored side is not.
Lovely stitching. Awesome attention to detail. I'm surprised you didn't attach a nameplate, or maybe I missed it. Really like how you installed the zip. New subbie -- Hello from So California.
Precioso trabajo ! Gracias ..👌😊🌼

That is Nora By Swoon
@@SeamsLegit thank you so much - loving the fabric on them! Off for a look at it, it must be the only one of theirs I haven't bought 😂
Do you think I'd be able to birth the bag through the pocket if I used waterproof canvas lining by chance?
As long as you make the pocket big enough. I like to birth mine through the bottom of the bag as its much easier
Awesome
I Really enjoy your videos thank you ,,,,ps,,does your friend make the 3D skulls to sell and where can i get one ,,x
Love this bag. Could you tell me if I can order one please and how much
Please send me an email seamslegitsewing@gmail.com
where do you getyour continuence zip from please
Www.seamslegit.com.au
What size of rivets do you use please, thank you
8 or 9 mm are my two favourite sizes
I can see the foam but where did you put the birch heavy?
I just noticed your machine is backwards from all others I've ever seen is this a left handed machine!!?
No. It's just the view
Where was the vinyl from ??
Is it just me, or is the fact that the screen is backwards frustrating?
I will be redoing all the backwards ones :) it's just have child free time
I thought is it me, and then I realised DUH!
Olá, lindo seu trabalho. Como posso obter o molde dessa bolsa?
The pattern link is in the description.
Really enjoy your videos. I wish you could have the orientation proper though. I find it awkward watching it reversed.
All of my newer videos are the right way around :)
@@SeamsLegit I read further down and realized that you had replied about that. Sorry to be a pain.
Maybe it’s because I’m a lefty but i don’t even notice!
What a beautiful little bag! Just a quick question, do you do a larger seam allowance in your linings?
Sometime I will do it 5/8 instead of half if I know it will fit better
Do you have a website where you sell your bags?
I do. www.seamslegit.com.au
I'm just learning--did you use 2 different interfacings on the larger pieces? You said birch and something else. Are they ironed on top of one another? Love your videos.
Its single layer of iron on foam that has the adhesive on both sides ...made in Australia by Birch.
Love love the pussy cat fabric...even though I'm a dog person lol it took me a minute to realise the video was reversed ..for a sec I thought you were sewing from the other side of the machine...durrrrr. Lindy xo
I know i thought...when did they start making left handed sewing machines....🙃😂
What size needle are you using?
A size 19.
Have never seen a machine. that is off to the left,,,
Its possible that I just didn't flip the video around before publishing 😂
