So refreshing to hear an Aussie accent even if you're pitching to overseas viewers with measurements in inches. Great to be able to easily find things at my local shops here in Australia rather than hearing about Dollar Tree or Michaels stores! Thank you for these projects and helpful tips. I wish you every success.xx
Deirdre, Amy did not invent the "butler method", it has been around for years! In case you missed it, this was the way that Tori finished one end of her zipper.
Tori, love this video; I have the pattern but was reluctant to give it a go. Will do over the weekend. PS, why don't you use a seam roller for the vinyl before topstitching? I bought mine from Bunnings for $6.00!!
Great tutorial. You wouldn't happen to have The Rose Handbag Pattern from Bagstock too do you? I love the design of it but I've been sitting on making it for ages because I'm not sure how to go about it, I would love to make myself one, I dont sew bags .
Is your machine really a left-hand machine (with the presser foot at the right and the body of the machine at the left) or is this a mirror image? Kinda strange.
This bag is gorgeous!! I love the colors. Do you ever have trouble with your needle getting sticky sewing through the double sided tape and how do you fix it if it does?
Hello! You came on my feed bagstock patterns! Very nice! P.S. what are u working on hanging in the back of u? Also, do you sale bags? If u do...whats a good production setup u suggested?
Production setup. Cut a bunch, interface them all, then sew all same thread colour ones together. Make sure you or roll a bunch of bobbins. Way quicker
I could Never figure out how you measure the bottom of the purse just watching you I think I just figured it out I may be wrong but it’s just like when you box it I’m thinking if the box is 3by 3 you take that for each side if I’m Correct if I’m making sense lmbo
The first line of your intro, I had to read it multiple times as I read it as you were about to beat, hit your son, I know that would never happen 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

An Australian. Its great to see, especially when it comes to using names of lining or buying hardware.
Beautiful bag. You did an amazing job and taught some really neat techniques. Thanks.
Beautiful bag and great tutorial! I used the same color vinyl to make a diaper bag.
You made that look so easy! Beautiful bag!
Wonderful tutorial, great job, the fabric is beautiful.
Excelente 👍
Another great project!
Great tip about the “Blue Flame”!!!
I have been frustrated with the black marks I get. 💗
Thanks for sharing Atlanta Ga USA helpful 👀 next time first time here
Amy Lynn does what she calls the butler method on zippers.Check it out its a pretty cool way to do the zipper

I love your skull containers. Can you share where you got them from? Love your videos. Clear, concise and to the point. Appreciate it.
💕💕💕
What machines do use? Preferences?

I bought some of your wpc 300D and wondering if I could use some iron on fleece on it?
I've never tried, but I would assume so. Iron on the fleece side (with baking paper in between)
Have just subscribed. Great to find someone from Aus to follow. Can you please share where you buy your vinyl?
I now have an an and get it directly from the supplier, but before that there is a shop in townsville that sold to the public called sewing trade.

.
I do not yet..
Hi Tori, Can you tell me where you get your vinyl from please, I'm in QLD as well, Thank you
I stock the vinyl on my website: www.seamslegit.com.au
@@SeamsLegit Thank you

Its a mirror image. Some of my older videos are backwards
@@SeamsLegit More like inside out :)
Can I make this with the foam out of the seam allowance? I have a domestic.
You certainly can
I cannot seam to get the corners correct Can you just cut out a square on each panel and do it that way. My corners are a disaster
Nevermind on hanging Q. I looked hard its rolled fabric.
This bag is gorgeous!! I love the colors. Do you ever have trouble with your needle getting sticky sewing through the double sided tape and how do you fix it if it does?
Sometimes I get a residue, but i can usually just pull it off. I have never broken a needle from stickiness
Rona Gallup use alcohol wipes to clean it off before sewing again
Nice
I made the bag tonight with waterproof canvas but the lining on the inside is too short I don't know what I did wrong
Perhaps just the seam allowance was off, or its not flexing properly at the top to allow it all the way down
@@SeamsLegit thank you

Дуже зрозуміло, особливо якщо дивитись на смартфоні, та ще й мови не розуміти! 😏
Just found you and enjoyed the video. What thread do you use on top and in bobbin?
My thread is a size 40 upholstry thread. The brands vary, but mainly serafil
do you use the same technique for the zipper pocket for all bags?
Mostly yes. I will be doing a different one next week though

How can I get ur patterns. Please tell me
The links to the patterns are in the description.
Seams Legit thank you
I can't get over your machine you seem to be going backwards ours are the sewing part on the left
Same here, it was making me a bit dizzy. Like you are sewing inside out...
What is that other machine to your left?
It is a cylinder walking foot machine. One of my tutorials I used it to make a bag.
The first line of your intro, I had to read it multiple times as I read it as you were about to beat, hit your son, I know that would never happen 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
She wanted to be up and about before her son woke up!! Cheers.
