It was smashing watching this as it was a reminder when I was there last year during the R.I.B. run event. As it's very quiet place I don't think I'll visit during this competition. The oyster bar was where we had supper and it was excellent, although I didn't manage to visit the puffer ,it to had a great reputation. I believe the bus from Oban goes to Easdale , and the seafari rib trips are perfect day out visiting the islands and famous whirlpool. Thanks again.
Glad you enjoyed the video 😊 Yea, I understand why you wouldn't visit during the competition-Easdale really wasn't a quiet island that day😄 We'll need to visit the Oyster bar the next time we visit 😊
@@terrifictraveltales Good morning to all, As I mentioned the Easdale rib run event every April/May , that's a spectacular full day when they depart from where your wee ferry was to wherever on the day. Another place you may like to video is the "secret" harbour called the Gegan down from North Berwick also Cove harbour near Dunbar. Perhaps whilst in sunny dunny travel to Torness power station.its a beautiful walk all the way around the station. I also meant to say whilst just outside North Berwick there's a cabin type cafe on the clifftop on the way to seacliff / n Gegan harbour. You'll both enjoy yourselves. Also in Dunbar try walking out towards Winterfield Golf club and pop in for a superb clean lunch and take in the views of to cold outside.
We'll have to check out the rib run event next year. Good shout re the Gegan - here's hoping we get some decent weather this year. And if not, we'll need to visit next year
Interesting video. There were more people waiting for that ferry than in your Greece to Albania video! I wonder what the winning number of bounces was in the stone skimming championships.
Thanks for showing us this interesting island. One for me to visit if I ever get to Oban.
It's a lovely wee island - can highly recommend!😊
Doesn’t look like you will run out of islands any time soon… keep it up, all the way to Muckle Flugga! Good stuff!
Definitely not! 😀 Think I'll need to add Muckle Flugga on our go-to list for next summer 😊

Yea, that's very true. Not sure how many bounces, but the cumulative winning distance was 155m. Thanks for watching 😊
