I had the same problem. I bought an 8 inch drill on Amazon to make a hole on a small piece of plywood. Works perfectly! I recommend you to scrap the adapter since you’re wasting the capabilities of your exhaust reducing its output. All in all my setup is identical to yours. :)
You in Austin? Get cards below MSRP? That's not really a thing, but getting them below scalper prices, I'd say yes. I'm thinking about trying a tent, so I run a window AC unit less, especially when expanding past my one 5 card rig.
Thx for this video!. Is the AC infinit fan too loud? (Db) as I have neighbors and I don’t want that to be so loud at night. I’m from Europe, so I guess that brand you are using have no European website, anyway I could buy another brand. I will watch the entire video (min 5:43 currently) and if I have any questions I will ask them later. Also, using this grow tent doesn’t affect your apartment’s temperature?. I saw that you extract hot air but I guess you don’t have an “intractor” or pull air from the outside with vents (I will watch anyway the entire video). Thx!
Would be a good idea to put inside grow tent a 100-120W industrial fan?. Because in summer, using an intractor fan to pull air inside I don’t know if that would be a good idea.
I have intake holes at the bottom of the grow tent, in the future I plan to use another fan to pull air in from outside as its more efficient but you need higher airflow because the outside air is warmer and wont absorbed as much heat
They are great for keeping the Heat in, but 101 is hot inside the tent. I've yet to see anyone actually keep a low temp inside a grow tent. Those reducers at the window connection are reducing ur cfm.
Yea the the reducer is, it dosent really matter though since on setting 3 or 4 I have enough cfm to keep everything cool. Also I disagree, 101F is not very hot. That's roughly only 38.3 degrees Celsius My cards are running at 60-65 C depending on the day and that is fairly cool. 101F is like the ambient temperature outside most days in the summer here
@@frigidpeons4816 The reducer matters, your throttling airflow. You may as well run 6" flex if your gonna reduce it. 60-65 is far from ideal. I bet all the gpu fans are running 100%. Even when my ambient temp is 90, my wattage goes up significantly, the gpu are working harder. They lose efficiency the hotter and faster the fan runs.. 101 ambient is hot. 80s is ideal.
I haven't lost any efficiency at all. I pull the exact same wattage as before I moved everything into the tent. Hashrates are similar and fan speeds are not that much more. Currently hovering around 60-68% fan speed and before it was roughly 58-64%
@@frigidpeons4816 I don't belive thay at all. If you have a much lower ambient temp then your cards will run more efficient and lower wattage.. 60-65 core temp is not a temp u want long term
While you are correct that lower temperatures increase efficiency please keep in mind that server powers supplies are designed with these operating temperatures in mind. They are 94% platinum power supplies rated for up 50C On a normal consumer Psu I could see some efficiency loss but even then it is negligible
Anything Under the max operating temp of all the equipment. Everything will be different but a good rule of thumb is under 100 Fahrenheit but if your equipment can stay hotter then you can raise it.
@@frigidpeons4816 How you are getting 100% in both? Bcz I have connected 2 3060 in my motherboard, I am getting 40MH in 1 gpu and 20 Mh in 2nd gpu. How ever I have connected monitor in both gpus.

Ok I think I know what should I buy. What I don't know if just extracting hot air and not having an air intake into the grow tent, if that´s good or not, because you just extract the hot air inside the tent.
@@frigidpeons4816 Do you mean buying another infinity Cloudline T8 or just opening one of the wholes and putting there, outside, an industrial fan of 120W for instance?
@@frigidpeons4816 Yeah but if it´s summer, 41ºC ouside (105 F), I would just push hot air inside, right?. Maybe in summer a fan inside and in winter, air from the outside, but 2 Cloudline´s T8 are expensive. They don't sell them here in Europe and using Amazon, importing them, would cost : "$199.00 + $126.74 Shipping & Import Fees Deposit to Spain". But it seems to be a really good one, so maybe it´s worth it, rather than buying a cheaper one.
Oh wow, there may be another brand in Europe to try.. Theses cloud ones are known for being quite here in the US/Canada. Other fans will work but I don't know how loud they will be. One fan is way cheaper and you can do like you said. Push outside in summer and pull air inside during winter

I might advise against having rigs plugged into a smart outlet or watt meter long term
Question? Why not place the fan inside the tent on its side. The fan will work better on its side and you get a reduction in noise.

For the tent I'm not sure if I want to get a bigger tent to grow into or buy a tent similar to yours?

That fan looks amazing, definitely I would use level 4 if I buy it. I can’t imagine lvl 10 how much db that would be 😅

lvl 10 is crazy, it pushes so much air and gets a loud
if you have two fans, One pulling in air from outside and one pushing hotter air outside
Thank you. Helped a lot. I will maximise the outlet diameter.
Don’t mount the fan vertically btw
did you leave any of the vents open below in the grow tent to suck in air?
I forgot to mention it, I do have the cents open to take air

220 is more efficient but not used everywhere. usually only for Dryers,Ovens etc..
