@@jkidd7608 I beat mario odyssey pretty good game I personally didnt like kirby it's good but not for me and zelda is great but I'm lost in that game and I'm about to buy pokemon arceus. I agree it is a great handheld I havent touched my ps5 in days because of this handheld lol.
@@tonygicz8 haven't played Odyssey yet. Tried Kirby and didn't care for it at all and yeah Zelda. This is the first Zelda game I've played since I was like 7 and that was on SNES. I was lost in the beginning.
I've tried all of them but I find myself always choosing the Lite for handheld. The comfort, build, real dpad, non wobbly joycons, it's the sleekest - everything to me still makes it the best handheld experience. I know the OLED has a super nice screen but the Lite still looks great and I would still choose the Lite as the best handheld Switch - it's just so comfortable...
@@robertjv not gonna lie, my hand felt cramped and uncomfortable reaching for the right stick. An inexpensive grip case fixed that though and made it feel like a control pad. Adds a bit of protection too as a bonus
i bought switch lite last time solely for the diamond and pearl remake, then arcues came along i was amazed, and now another pokemon game is coming? definitely one of my best purchase decision.
Same here bro. i stopped playing my xbox completely. I gave it to my kids. I let them play their games and they dnt bother me. i pull out my switch lite, and nobody bothers me either so! Respect to the Switch lite tho, its worth the chance of joycon drift. Hasnt happened to me in a year so id say have at it. Buy one folks.. ✌️
If you don't care about docked mode, then I think the Lite is absolutely still worth it in 2022. If you didn't have a Switch yet and want docked mode, then get the OLED.
I never dock and the OLED just has a much nicer screen. The lite is a dissapointing after using the OLED. If you never had a regular size switch before then sure go ahead and get the lite
The switch lite is also handy for those who have an OG switch where the battery is probably knackered by this point. You can leave the OG docked and get a lite to use on the go

Omg I loooovvveee my switch lites. I have 3 of them… two Pokémon special editions and one yellow one which was my very first one. I do have the old switch and now the OLED but I carry my Pokémon lite one everywhere I go. I have little hands and never need to use extra controllers to handle the console. I hope nintendo continues to make fun colors and special editions to the lites as they did to the DS family. I will never give mine up :). Thank you for all your videos

I've had a gen 2 switch since it released and I only played on handheld. So when my sister started getting into the switch, she kind of took it over with her games and I need my own. So the switch lite has been great so far. I am dreading the drift when it appears, but for now it's fine
Yeah switch lite is fire, got one yesterday and got DB fighter z and Xenoverse 2. Next game I'm getting is kakarot definitely, even though I have kakarot on my series s but want it especially on the switch. Great video.
I’ve got serious love for the switch lite. It has a d-pad, and a better build quality (attached joy-cons are soo nice). I play mostly handheld so the lite is great. I also have the OG and a OLED. They are all great
@@jcc4543 A new set of joycons are about $65. I can buy a secondhand (sometimes new) Switch lite for $80-$100. I’d say the lite is still a better deal even if I have to replace the whole system.
I have both the regular switch and the switch lite and I gotta say even with the satisfye grip on the original switch it’s still not as comfortable as the lite. It’s so light(pun intended) and comfortable to hold. I do experience some hand cramping but that’s after a every extended period of time.
Just bought mine blue in color and it is definitely light and easy to.carry around, this is definitely my go-to Switch when I am travelling or going out. My OLED is staying home, docked. 😄
Switch lite is a great console. Only gripe I'd have is the screen is a little in the small side. I wear glasses and it can give me eye strain if using it too long. Therefore I tend to use it for shorter play sessions, such as travelling. Though I guess that's what it's intended for anyway.
There are a few games that won’t work on the Lite or have some issues, like the Labo sets. You could get separate Joy-Cons, but you’d also need a device to charge them, and by the time you buy all that, it would be the same cost as a regular Switch. So research it before buying.
i got my switch lite today the right joystick is very unconfortable low i get hand cramp under 2 min of using it very frustrating cant play any game that require to use right joystick
@@droo3010 you’re opinion. my brother has the Oled and I have had a good go on it yes it’s great most powerful switch beautiful screen. but playing portable mode all the time for long periods I couldn’t do that with Oled the lite is so much more comfortable due to size and so much more Inconvenient to take out with you in a small man bag if you are on a plane or a long train journey

Do you get stick drift cause a just got a switch lite because my switch was not working properly so I want to know if i didn’t spend 200 dollars on a lite that will stick drift in 2 months
It can but nintendo is known for releasing updates that can brick the device if you do. I would recommend buying a PS vita if you want the ultimate hacked on the go device and keep everything stock on the switch.
My only concern is if you end up with buttons drift . Or you experience problem with buttons . Any recommendation ? This is the only reason that stopping me from getting switch lite

I got my Switch Lite on October 8th, 2021 along with Metroid Dread. I never should have gotten it because it is ALL I EVER PLAY!!! Seriously, I almost never touch my PlayStation or Xbox anymore. My Switch Lite is the bombdigity. I love the thing. I also have Joy Cons and a small wireless controller that makes some games perfect. My universal fight stick will work on all my systems, including the Switch Lite, and I have a Hatsune Miku Project Fiva controller coming from eBay. I LOVE Project Diva Mega 39!!! My biggest take away from this great video is that I can get an OLED model and still maintain my gaming goodness. I have wondered about that and am glad to know it’s easy to play either console with the cloud save system. Hell, maybe I’ll just get a standard Switch as I plan on leaving it docked while I use my Switch Lite as my “gaming on the go” system. Either way, I am never giving up my Switch Lite. It may be the best system I’ve ever had, and I have had a lot. Thanks for the awesome video.
i learned to read playing Dragon Warrior, and other Square games. I've seriously been considering getting a Lite just because the lineup of RPGs is incredible. Octopath Traveler, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and of course the classic Legend of Zelda (though they aren't by Square)

I now own 3 switch lites my turquoise one I got back in September 2019 i got my switch lite blue 2 months ago and a few days ago I got a coral one so far they all work awesome I play mostly sword and shield on them and I play mario kart online on my turquoise one I love all 3 switch lites
I’ve been using mine for almost 3 years and no drift at all. I only use it when I’m travelling so I havent played so much. If the drift appears in the 1st year you can always apply ur warranty, so I wouldn’t be afraid of it.

Ever since i got my Lite i almost never touch my regular Switch anymore. It's so comfortable to play on i don't even think about using the other one.

How about the joycon drift problem for switch lite? Because lite can’t change the joycons, if it drifted, are you done for good?
Mine has joycon drift, simply i used wd40 contact cleaner, and it's good now
