I love that he's performing this world class display of athleticism in front of a cartoon skating chipmunk holding a little torch framed by a bunch of colorful balloons like its an 8 year olds birthday party
I always wonder what it means to be strong. A lot of people couldn’t snatch a 70lb kB you’re right, but if you gave a lot of people 3 months to train, they could. So were they really weak before, or just untrained ?
@@bobdole7292 A trainee progressing to 70lbs kettlebells in 3 months definitely has potential. In real life scenarios most take quite long to reach that level.
The best part he did not even slow down 2 minutes in his count was 48 , meaning 24/min. 8 minutes later he delivered 238/10 min with basically the same performance he started with
Just did my first 5:00 28kg snatch test tuesday for 67 reps. Switching every 5 reps. This is BEAST mode to the max. Much props. Stay Strong, Stay Positive, Be the Improvement Warrior!
I love training with kettle bells, they are the ultimate element in every form of fitness, from strength to cardio, mobility and endurance amongst everything else but watching these lads n lasses do this for minutes at a time gives me motivation.well done n keep strong👍💪🙂
Exactly. I just did a set of 50 swings with the 32kg yesterday (first time I've gotten that many in a single set), but it was 2-arm and my grip was completely shot at the end. Right now, I can't even imagine doing those 50 as single arm swings, let alone 238 snatches. Crazy.
fedor fuglev 80 kg weight class, 32 kg kettlebell snatch 222 reps in 10 min (2005) denisov 105 kg weight class, 32 kg kettlebell snatch 238 reps in 10 min. fedor is 25 kg lighter than denisov.
I have been to Russia and other Eastern European countries. They seem to have a different work and exercise ethic. They approach things differently compared to many western countries. It's a cultural thing.
Bought this for my youngest to develop basic form for single hand kettlebell work. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxtaDAl93XF8wxJhssTtjIFjzid82wglva It has a nice grip on it, just a little rough so it isn't slippery. I was doing a few rotator cuff exercises to test and worked well for those movements I'd been doing with a regular dumbbell. Cool thing you can do is hold it in your hand for door-knob turns to work the forearm and grip. Note: it's small, almost all handle, but that's what I expected given the weight. Smallest I've worked with before is 15lbs, so it was kind of funny to see the difference 10lbs makes.
This proves that no matter how much you exercise you'll still have a big belly if you dont change what you eat and drink. These guys burn alot of calories. Of course the winner did not have a gut.
Aesthetics ain’t everything man, at least for this people, you can look like the rock and you still get beaten by men like this who look like they don’t train, Strength isn’t associated with how your physique looks like. Strength is a skill
@@ferumcastrum4097 health is related to what your physique looks like. It is not healthy to carry a lot of visceral fat in your gut. A lot of strong people are too fat and are not healthy. That's why aesthetics do matter. My point is that the fat guys in the video are exercising hard enough but their diet must not be good because they still have big loaf of bread in the oven.
No, once they lock out over their head they’ve completed the snatch. They are holding it there because they have to go for 10 minutes and they can’t do it continuously like other guy. They’re resting

LMFAO
Well said
Probably the best TH-cam comment ever
😂
this is fucking insane. the cardio and grip strength in particular are otherworldly.
I think most people would struggle lifting their empty arm 283 times
People dot understand how impressive this is untill they pick up a 32kg kettlebell for themselves and see how many times they can snatch it
Most regular people don't even have the grip strength and shoulder stability to snatch 24kg kettlebells.
I always wonder what it means to be strong. A lot of people couldn’t snatch a 70lb kB you’re right, but if you gave a lot of people 3 months to train, they could. So were they really weak before, or just untrained ?
You said 53 lb whoops, I’d is 70

IF they can snatch it!
Just an incredible display of strength, power & endurance.
This should be an olympic sport.
I cant understand Ivans grip strength..insane as is everything about this performance
He's so relaxed, such efficient movement. Impressed.
Some technical points. I teach that in all my seminars.
th-cam.com/video/O8AKiYcWbgo/w-d-xo.html
Wonder how many calories he burned in those 10 min
These creatures appear to be human, but their performance says otherwise.
😂😂😂
I don't know if I've seen anything more impressive.

I swing 50lbs KB for 40 seconds at a time and can only last about 2 and half minutes. 72 lbs for 10 minutes this man is humble and a stud!
Insane levels of stamina.
Just.
Fuggin.
Impressive.

I like how the guy on the left drops the kettlebell instead of swinging.
Lol looks painful on the shoulder
But still very hard to do it the way he is though💪

Always interesting how Denisov's snatch comes from more of a pull than a swing.
clearly to be seen in the last 2 or so minutes.
I believe because he has stronger forearms than abs..those last reps are awful, very bad technique,
Dudes legs are like tree trunks. His lungs are heart are probably some of the best in the world. My heart would’ve exploded from this.
The other competitors most be gutted when they see Ivan on the entry list !!
This man is a machine !! amazing
Im sure, i can lift more.
Dude makes it look like it weighs 10kg
Loving the James Bond theme in the background
The True superman
to put this in perspective, try doing a simple kb swing with 20kg for 5 min non stop
Exactly. I just did a set of 50 swings with the 32kg yesterday (first time I've gotten that many in a single set), but it was 2-arm and my grip was completely shot at the end. Right now, I can't even imagine doing those 50 as single arm swings, let alone 238 snatches. Crazy.
This is an incredible performance. Iv never seen anything like it
The guy next to Denisov is doing drop snatches instead of swinging it like him.
What a wimp, switched arms after only 120 reps
Yeah absolutely terrible. Lol
xDDDD
Absolutely fucking amazing!!!!
Well fucking done, and I really mean that!
Wow!!!
fedor fuglev 80 kg weight class, 32 kg kettlebell snatch 222 reps in 10 min (2005)

UNBELIEVABLE STRENTH. 😮 Grip will be like a vice press.
Blows my mind that this is possible
This is absolutely bananas.
Unbelievably impressive.

Fantastic strength and endurance!
Dude is a monster. 32kg is alot of weight
He is harder than steel....
Extraordinary strength and endurance... unbelievable!
What a incredible set!

Wow!!! Unglaublich gut!
Imagine trying to grapple with such a beast.
Francisco Feest I'm imagining that right now lol ;-)
+Hazel Usmar You are imagining yourself grappling with him?! Hmmmm...
Holy shit. That is strength.
True Grit....Amazing
Goldeneye theme song playing in the background at first.
The master of the masters
Only thing I can do with a 32kg kettebell is lift it from the ground. Snatching it with such ease just doesn't register in my brain.
Awesome job!!!
Good work
@John Horte Thanks for the reply man! Ya I can imagine that's how they are. Do you think you can get a physique only like this from kettlebells?!?!
This is so fucking sick. Good Job!
Real life Ivan Drago!
Breathing pace is interesting
Ivan the Lionheart
Quick question ... Why's there James Bond music playing in the background?
Tomas Wilson
Because hes watching
😂😂 yeah exactly
This is mind blowing
I'd be cautious with giving this guy a handshake ;)
Awesome!!

He did it effortlessly like it is 8kg
Isn't something like this part of the Secret Service Counter Assault Team fitness test?
Yes, 10 min max kb snatch at 53lbs, this is 70lbs.
WOW!!!

So.. this is good for starting up several lawn mowers or what ?
holy fucking shit
These guys looks like they smoked a cigarette afterwards
Serious ! Lol Way to lay it down Ivan.
Because this is the Secret Service Snatch Test: 10 minutes of continuos snatches.
But not with 32kg and only one hand switch allowed.
I wonder what his heart rate was after those 10 mins?!! Amazing.
Probably sounds like metal version of Katyusha
he makes that thing look like a 16k what the hell?!?!
so unreal to watch this dude
Crazy..
slick
Beast
how could he has big legs? do he also train with barbell squat?
I agree his legs are monstruous.
Im jealous...
He probably does barbell squats in training, but he certainly does kettlebell jerks or longcycle, which use the legs more than the snatch.
@@stefangeschke7604You can do very heavy, extensive leg training with kettlebells.
Increíble
Ivan! El número 1.
What's with the 007 soundtrack haha
Ivan!
El numero 1!!!
super best men

wow.
hold my beer :D
did he hurt his arm at the end?
I think he's just trying to keep his grip by not doing a back swing.
look how long the other guys hold them up before getting there count what the fuk
Ilija Stojanovski I'm thinking it's cause they're taking longer to lock out. Ivan seems to do it almost instantly.
