    Competitive Job Market: In a competitive job market, employers often have many candidates to choose from, and they may use factors such as continuous employment history to narrow down their options. Candidates with career gaps may face stiffer competition and may need to demonstrate exceptional skills or qualifications to stand out.

    careergap explain chesina like due to prepared for GATE,RRB and learned some skills on backend database skillset ,asking for certifications,feasibilty to their project does not match.

    I got an offer letter from Wipro and done with background check and got addendum letter too in the year 2022. But didn't get joining letter till now can i expect onboarding ?

    I interviewed a lady who had 5 years of career gap due to her marriage. She couldn't answer the interview questions. I wanted to reject her. But, manager hired her bcoz she got recommendation from our colleague. Luckily, she learnt the work well and contributed to the project.
    I have seen people with career gap getting hired when market is extremely good.
    When the market is bad, I would suggest them to take a 1 year course and try jobs.

      Without Referals It might be difficult to onboard.everyone cannot get reference from IT Folks for free.
