I have to say...as far as videos posted on Utube, this has to be at the top of being extremely helpful. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, experience, and resources!
My 1999 RV with the 5.9 Cummins had the exact same break, never got around to fixing it before I purchased a newer RV… the 2003 had a break on the front condenser (which was impossible to find a replacement) After some silver solder brazing able seal up the leak. I’m glad to see people working on they own stuff.
I’m always amazed at how many people will not take the time to just learn and take the time to repair something themselves to save potentially $1k upon $1k’s…..Thank you for watching. Means a great deal to us. AJ, Denise & Ally@A Long Long Way to GO
Crazy helpful video. Like you, I'm constantly trying to expand my knowledge. Now i know how to go about putting new ends on A/C lines. Did you oil those o-rings before you put them on? Don't know if those require it. I have what seems like a thousand o-rings on my truck and every single one of them needs to be oiled before installation.
@@MarkMonismith Added a link to video description coming out today at 11:00 CST….Purchased from Ac Discounters through Amazon with 4 year extended warranty. Thanks.
I need to add Freon to mine every year...then she puts out cold air for...well, a year! I am not going to try and chase down where the leak is as It is 45' of potential.
Tough to find for sure. Heard the evaporator core tends to develop small leak around the solder welds…..I think I would just add each year also before doing that nightmare of a job !! I did find a company out of Florida ( I believe ) where I purchased a 15# bottle for less than $200……I think it was like $130…ish….
My dash air is not working either. The dash vents aren’t blowing but does seem kind of cold from the floor vents. So I’m thinking my blower is clogged My front roof unit does not blow cold either. So driving my 2000 intrigue has been hell… Hoping to fix both of them before next summer. Other than this, my hwh travel light is not working. Seems it’s supposed to auto level and go into travel mode when you release the parking brake but my hwh system seems to think the parking brake is always on. I have to manually level it and adjust ride height by eye before I drive it. Aside from these problems, I love my RV and it’s been great driving. Need some new front tires but otherwise pretty damn fun to drive around

Yes. Lubed them with some synthetic o-ring lube called viper lube. The ac oil and it will not react to each other.
Thanks so much for your video. I also need a compressor for my 2003 Intrigue. Have you been able to identify the compressor and get a part number?
@@MarkMonismith video out tomorrow morning 11:00am CST. I will get a link to my purchase and post it up for you.
